JVC MiniDV Camcorder
2008-10-22Didn't like this camera when I got it. Now that I've finally figured a few more things out on it I like it better. Works good and takes good pictures or movies. I wish it had a light on it as it doesn't work to good on any dark shots. Can be complicated to figure out but, all in all a good camera. Compact in size.

what a great zoom feature
2007-12-21been using now for some time I really like the 32 optical zoom man its good. I play lots of golf and I was able to zoom in on the group in front of me over 200 yards away. Too bad camera did'nt come with a stabilizer.. cause it really flutters when you zoom in so far away..Hey JVC make next camera with some stabilizing for this price....

Great camcorder, great price
2007-08-24This was a great buy. Really happy with the picture, sound, and ease of use. Size is perfect and as good as anything else we saw but much better price.

Easy to Use
2007-04-03The product is compact and portable, seems solid and well made. The zoom is good, and the functions are all fairly simple. Hooks up to a tv easily enough.
The nigh vision feature, while providing better visibility, creates more of a strobing effect than I would have liked. Also, I have not yet figured out how to transfer video to a computer (I have the right cable), but I haven't tried too hard to figure it out.

Worth It!!
2007-03-27This camcorder is the best deal if you are looking for something easy to use and don't need the newest bells and whistles. It's small and light, making it easy to hold and record. The options are there for zooming, light, snapshots, etc. So far the quality has been great. Even if it lasts just a few years, at this price it was still well worth it. Would definitely recommend it.

Core 2 Duo Scaling
Laptop Scaling
Intel's Core 2 Duo is easily the best mobile processor on the market today, boasting sky-high performance and low power consumption. But which CPU is for you: the super expensive T7600, the bargain-priced T5500, or something in between?
This article will first take a look at the various versions of Core 2 Duo that Intel has to offer. We will compare Core 2 Duo clocked at four speed grades: 2.33GHz, 2.16GHz, 2GHz, and 1.83GHz in a variety of benchmarks and let you know how to get your best bang for the buck.
Note: We will refer to a Core 2 Duo “T7000multiple times in this article. We were unable to get a Merom sample with 2MB L2 cache, thus we lowered the clock speed of our 4MB L2 model to 1.83GHz to perform near that of the T5600 (1.83GHz, 2MB L2 cache), resulting in our unofficial “T7000nomenclature.

Digital camera batteries
Batteries are vital for all photography and makiing sure that you have a spare set is essential if you intend to take alot of pictures. Print digital also recommend that when deciding upon a digital camera keep in mind what sort of batteries it takes. Does it take rechargeable batteries, are the batteries built and do you have to plug it into the mains, or does the camera only take standard batteries, if so then it can become exspensive if you are a keen photographer and use the camera alot.
There are three types of rechargeable batteries: NiCD, NiMH and Lithium-Ion. Nickel Metal Hydride are the most popular rechargeable batteries at present. They hold more charge than their counter parts NiCD and don't suffer from memory effect. The one small down fall of these batteries is that they will loose a small amount of charge even if they are not being used, so be sure to check the batteries before using them.
When you purchase a new digital camera make sure to ask what type of battery ...
