Who doesn't love Haribo?
2008-09-09When I was a small girl my uncle used to send us gummy candy from Germany. I have been eating Haribo candies for as long as I remember... They were such a treat! and still are!!!

the ideal gummy bear
2008-08-06i've had my share of gummy bears in my life (they're my favorite candy,) and these take the cake. where to begin?
the fruit flavors are perfect and well balanced. no matter what flavor distribution i throw back, from one at a time to a whole handful, it always tastes great. great flavor balance.
consistency-wise they are on the firm side (which is a very good thing, nothin' worse than a soft/squishy gummy). the beeswax coating is the best way to keep them from sticking together as well, no powdery or filmy residue after you eat them. just your plain ol' mouth ready to eat more gold bears.
they have always been pretty fresh to me, as well. sometimes the 5 lb. HUGE bag can get a bit stale, but this only happens with the last few handfuls and even the stale ones are better than most other gummies.
finally, they have what i call a long betrayal period, meaning you can eat a large quantity of them before feeling sick of them. this could be seen as a vice for their obvious dental and dietary drawbacks, but i'm giving points for their lasting quality.
I like getting the 5 lb. bag over this box of 12 bags because it's cheaper by volume and i like the lack of excess plastic packaging involved. plus as i stated before they don't go stale very quickly.
very VERY good.

Excellent
2008-07-17These came fresh and flavorful. I was worried that they might be stale, because they're from Amazon, but they were still soft. These are definitely my new favorite gummi-bears.

Gold Bears are the best!
2008-07-16I have been a fan of HARIBO Gold Bears for many years and these are the highest quality, best tasting, gummys in the world. Definitely recommend getting the 5 lb bag, its more economical. Thank you HARIBO!!

Just deliciously delicious!
2008-07-13I have been hooked on these gummi bears for years! I used to work on an Army base and whenever one of our soldiers would go TDY to Germany, we would make him bring these back for us!! I'd tried different types after I left the base, but couldn't find the particular flavor. When I did happen upon it, I was so happy to discover Haribo brand again! Yay, go Gummi Bearen!!

Your Autistic Child's Educational Rights
The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) entitles children with autism to a free and appropriate public education. Under this act your child should receive an education that meets their needs and provides them with the skills and information other children without disabilities receive. Since your child's specific needs govern what is appropriate education for the child, parents are tasked with understanding not only their child's condition and behaviors but also how the education system works. Parents who take the time to understand these laws help to ensure that their child will meet their potential. It is also often left up to the parents to negotiate with the school to ensure that their child's needs are being met. When a parent fully understands their child's educational rights, they can make informed decisions regarding the education of their child.
