Multiply Power
2008-11-23This product is a good solution to the power strip crowded with wall wart transformers. The Power Strip Liberator is a quality product and was sent to me promptly.
You lose six outlets
2008-10-25The only problem with this unit verses the other "liberator" device is that this unit doesn't have an extra power outlet which the other product does. With this and a 6 outlet power strip you get to use only 6 devices. With the other one, you can use 6 adapter devices and still have 6 outlets available ont he power strip so you don't have to run two power strips. I think that feature alone is worth the extra money.
A Simple Invention That Is Quite Useful
2008-08-26Simple but quite useful product.
I have a UPS and a few powerstrips in the house. They are great by providing more outlets. But with all the power adapters that runs most of the gadgets today, even one of those power adapters can cover 2 to 3 outlets which defeats the purpose of having a powerstrip. The liberator solves that problem.
Also, some power adapters can be huge and heavy that its weight alone tends to loosen it from the wall, the liberator serves as a little extension to prevent it from loosening up. Loose connections are dangerous, it can produce sparks that not only can ruin your equipments but can even starts a fire. Countertop receptacles can also be problematic where they are awkwardly situated sideways.
Space saver for sure
2008-08-11Don't be fooled by other products that do not offer three prongs for your appliances that need to be grounded. These are really simple space savers and work great.
