No Miracles here, just a great shampoo/conditioner!
2008-11-27So most guys who are reading this have probably ended up here because they are (or fear they are) losing their hair. If this sounds like you, than pick up these products. The shampoo (cleanser) is wonderful and the conditioner (scalp treatment) will make you feel clean and awake. Seriously, the minty smell that fills up my shower helps make that morning coffee just a little less necessary. As for the scalp therapy... I don't use it. For me, personally, after all this time trying to find products that work for hair loss, I've discovered that these types of products never ever work. Actually, all they really do is dry out your scalp and make your head itchy... which in turn makes you scratch... which in turn... Well you get it. Bottom line is, this is a great shampoo/conditioner for anyone, but don't expect any miracles. They're not promising one. So if money isn't that big of a factor for you (and when it comes to your hair, if you're reading this, it probably isn't) than this is a great shampoo for you. So stay away from the kit and just pick up the cleanser and the therapy. I'm fortunate enough to be able to get it at cost, but if I wasn't I'd probably still use it. Good luck guys!

Miracle Worker
2008-09-04So first off, I use the whole system (shampoo, conditioner, scalp treatment). The process is very quick every day. The shampoo feels and smells great (very minty). Now as far as growing back more hair, I'm not sure how effective that is. I have very very thin and ugly hair. It always has to be in a bun; otherwise, it looks terrible (limp, lifeless, oily). The rain is my enemy. Anytime it rains, I must run because if my hair gets wet in public, it's a disaster. Then I started using Nioxin and yes! It works! It TRULY TRULY works! So if you have thin hair like me, PLEASE TRY IT. This stuff is great. My hair is noticeably thicker and just bigger in general. I can now even wear my hair down and with some hairspray, it actually looks great. Wonderful product for thin haired people; definitely recommended. But do use the entire system as I think it makes a difference. My hair feels great now.

Every guy over the age of 18 should be using this
2008-08-27Stop reading these reviews and buy this now!! I've been using this for a few months now, and my hair looks really good. It gives a nice clean feeling and makes your hair feel thicker. I also notice less hair in my hands after washing and a lot less all over my bathroom.

good price

Self Help Skills
The goal of most interventions in the treatment of autism and related pervasive developmental disorders is to help the individual gain independence. Self care can be challenging for some people with autism for a number of reasons.
Many individuals with autism need help with activities that require fine motor skills. Fine motor skills are necessary to complete everyday activities like buttoning a shirt or closing a zipper. These tasks require hand-eye coordination, attention and some patience.
Many individuals who have autism attend occupational therapy sessions that are designed to develop fine motor skills and gross motor skills. However, families can encourage fine motor activities throughout the day. There are plenty of options that promote these skills.
Play Doh(R) is a wonderful tool for developing fine motor skills. The activity is often rewarding in itself and it can also be used as a tool for interaction as well as communication. Other fine motor activities include drawin ...
PECS
Communication is a tremendous obstacle in most cases of pervasive developmental disorders like autism. PECS is a Picture Exchange Communication System that uses images to help facilitate communication.
PECS is a valuable treatment for autism in that it can be used in a variety of ways. It helps the child transition between activities and it can help reduce tantrums since the child has a means of communicating with others.
The approach recognizes that autistic children are very visual. Instead of trying to process spoken language the instructor uses the visual PECS treatment to convey thoughts and ideas.
There are six phases in the PECS treatment approach. Each step is introduced successively. The first step in this treatment for autism begins with no spoken language at all. The child simply exchanges a picture for a desired object or activity. Progressively, the PECS treatment approach leads to the sixth phase in which the child uses the pictures as an independent means of comm ...
