This is my first electric shaver. It is quick and easy. My beard isn't particularly thick, so this does the job just great.

I have had this razor for perhaps 6 months and wish I would have had the sense to return it within the 30 days allowed. The main problem is the low speed at which this razor runs. Previous Norelcos that I have owned ran at much higher speeds and cut far more efficiently. The 7140 is hell on the neck, particularly with a 2 day growth and tends to pull hairs rather than cut them. I would pass on this razor unless you have a light beard. Don't ignore the 30 day return policy if you do decide to try this razor.

I was skeptical on the performance but I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort and clean shave this shaver gave at such an excellent price. It beat out a more expensive remington shaver which I sent back.

I bought this so I can shave quickly and have a cut-free face. This thing is great for that! The life for this thing is about two weeks if you use it everyday and then you have to charge it, or if you want you use it with the wire on and don't have to worry about the battery. Overall, this is a great shaver for a great price compared to the stores, no lie. Highly recommended
