Good healthy alternative
2008-12-30These are good. The taste and texture are decent. I just find this stuff expensive and would rather buy dates and nuts and dried fruit on my own and eat them

Great choice for a "fast food"!
2007-10-15This is a delicious bar. It tastes like an apple cinnamon dessert yet isn't overly sweet to the point that it leaves me sugared up. I love that it is made with truly wholesome ingredients and is not loaded with perservatives, corn syrup, etc. and other garbage like you will find in other bars.

Amazing Apple Cinnamon Bar
2007-06-27These bars are delicious. They are satisfying, and actually taste like apples and cinnamon. Great snack bar, much healthier than others on the market.

The name say it all!!
2007-05-22This bar is like having a piece of apple pie without the guilt!!! I would highly recommend this bar! I have tried so many "health bars" and when I opened them up they all tasted dry and like cardboard....YUK! Not this one!

Its too sweet
2007-05-15It tastes okay and I like that it's bigger than a lava bar, but lava bars tastes better in my opinion.

Fabry Disease
Definition
Fabry disease is an inherited
genetic disorder caused by a defective gene. The disease causes fatty deposits in several
organs of the body. Males who inherit the defective gene will express the
disease. Females who have a single copy of the gene are called "carriers," and most are
asymptomatic (do not have symptoms). However, some women do have symptoms, and the severity of
these symptoms can vary widely. On occasion women may be as severely affected as men.Causes
Fabry disease is
caused by a deficiency of the enzyme alpha galactosidase-A, or GALA. GALA usually works to
clear fatty substances called glycosphingolipids from the body. However, in Fabry disease, the
absence of GALA causes this fatty substance to accumulate in the blood and blood vessel walls.
This leads to constriction of blood flow through the vessels. Eventually, the decreased blood
flow leads to problems of the skin, kidneys, heart, and nervous system.
