Good Value
2008-11-16This pad was purchased for an elderly woman with arthritis.
She is very pleased with it, due to the fact that it warms up quickly without getting so hot as to be uncomfortable and because she can operate the simple controls easily despite having severe arthritis in both hands.
She also likes the fact that it comes without the automatic shut-off timer that many heating pads have.
The size is good for larger areas such as an aching back or using for both feet at the same time.
Overall it performs well and is an excellent value for the price.

Comes as Auto-shut-off
2008-11-07I ordered this because of all the reviewers comments that it did not have an auto-shut-off. Joke's on me. It came with 2 hour shut-off. Hmmmm!Sunbeam Health at Home Heating Pad, King Size 14" x 18"

Where's the heat?
2008-09-20I have one thing to say, "Where's the heat?" I turned it on to high for an hour and it barely heated up. Would never buy again. Returned it. Only good thing is Amazon has a very good return policy.

Great! Just what I was looking for!
2008-09-03I wanted a heating pad without autoshutoff, this is definitely the one for me but still the king size version that helps me. Good product.

Delivers
2008-08-31I have been using this brand of heating pad for years. I prefer those that do not cut off after an hour. When you turn this one on, it stays on. Great!

Pudendal Neuralgia
Overview
What is pudendal neuralgia?
Pudendal neuralgia is a rare problem with the pudendal nerve that
can affect both men and women. The pudendal nerve runs through your pelvic
region, including your genitals,
urethra, anus, and
perineum. Your perineum is the area between your anus
and genitals. The condition is also known as pudendal neuropathy, pudendal
nerve entrapment, cyclist's syndrome, pudendal canal syndrome, or Alcock’s
syndrome.
Pudendal neuralgia can cause pain, especially when you sit. Men
with pudendal neuralgia may have pain in the buttocks,
scrotum, penis, and perineum. Women with pudendal
neuralgia may have pain in their buttocks,
vulva, urethra, and perineum.
Why Diets Can Go Wrong?
Most diets fail because of hunger, cravings, boredom, and cheating, often due to too much counting. Research showed that most people honestly think they consume mess calories than they really do and this can be the first usual suspect. To figure out whether or not this is the reason for your diet failure, try keeping log of your calorie intake: quite a few online diets offer good tools for diet logs.
Hunger is the worst diet enemy since it pushes your body in the conservation mode and instead of burning the calories contained in your body fat, you become sleepy and lazy so move less and don't burn the calories. There are basically two solutions:
A low-fat, high-fiber diet to decrease the amount of calories in every portion. Research showed that hunger disappears the faster the bulkier the food.A low-carb, higher-fat diet to switch your body's metabolism from running on carbohydrates to running on your body fat's by products, ketone bodies. Research showed that not only this decrease ...
