The worst software ever2010-04-24
Paperport 11 is one of the worst software programs i have ever used.I would never buy another product from the company ever.
Good concept - Poor Performance - Horrible Customer Service2010-03-24
I used Paperport Pro 8 through 11. I liked it for document management. In theory it was good, but its performance got worse with each "improvement". Then the customer support was terrible. I purchased version 11 as a software download and had it on 2 desktop computers at home for my family and on laptop. I was the only one who used the software but I liked being able to work on whatever computer was not in use by my family. I also am one who likes to reinstall Windows on occasion to get rid of all the registry problems. Each time I would try to reinstall Paperport I would have to call Nuance. I would send them the same email showing how I purchased this product and owned it. Every time I called I got more and more grief from them. About two years ago, I stopped calling them because it was too much of bother. I had wanted to make it work. There were features that I liked. But I will never go back to them again.
Nuance doesn't support their products2009-12-31
I have used papermate in the past with no problems. With the papermate ver-11 that is all it has been and papermate will not respond unless you agree to pay for their services by phone which I might add is not acceptable since I am hearing impaired. I have also had the same problems with Dragon. I suggest that you find another product to use if you want support.
Full of bugs, a disaster of a software package.2009-11-01
Terribly written software, reminds you of all the reasons people hate Windows. Constant freezing, crashing and rebooting. Look for something else. An outrage.
Eliminating the clutter in my home office!2009-10-15
I recently obtained Paperport 11 and am very happy with the software. I am in the process of finally eliminating the clutter in our home office. The program is easy to install and use. We have Windows XP and a HP scanner. There have had no technical issues.

The folders are color coded, easily labeled and you can see at a glance what is in each one. I have created a folder for each person in the family for health forms, school documents, etc. The household bills are organized in monthly folders. Finally, I will be able to locate a document quickly when I need it. I have seen the value of going paperless at work, now I am doing it at home!
