A traditional French pork sausage with Herbs of Provence. A chipolata is a type of small thin sausage from the United Kingdom. Chipolatas are normally made from coarse-ground pork seasoned with salt and pepper together with such herbs according to the particular recipe as sage, thyme, pimento, and/or nutmeg. These are some of the best tasting sausages in the world. Low fat, lots of herbs. Savor them slowly because they are so pricey!
Not to put on cheap hot dog buns. The best is on a french baguette of course!
