Product Description:

For advanced amateur photographers, the Epson Perfection V350 Photo boasts an impressive 4800 x 9600 dpi maximum hardware resolution for reproducing and enlarging images with incredible detail and accuracy. This resolution matches that used by many professionals when scanning film and allows for large prints to be made without the loss of image quality. In addition, the Perfection V350 Photo features a unique Automatic Film Loader (AFL) built into the top of the scanner lid for effortless film scanning of 35mm film strips, up to six frames at a time. If your closets are filled with shoeboxes full of negatives, you will find the AFL an invaluable tool for scanning large quantities of negative strips. Users can also scan film with a traditional film holder and the built-in transparency adapter.
The Perfection V350 also introduces a new feature - Digital Dust Correction technology. It is a more intelligent tool that automatically detects and removes unwanted dust particles from scans while maintaining the integrity of the original image. Some dust removal technologies apply detection to the whole image, which can mistakenly remove important details that resemble dust or debris. Epson's solution separates an image into different areas -- those with many image elements and those with few image elements -- and works to remove defects only in the clearer areas. In this manner, dust is removed from only those areas where it would be most visible, minimizing the risk that real image content would erroneously be deleted. This patent-pending technology is only available for Epson scanners. USB 2.0 Connector (1.1 backward compatible) Works with both PC and Macintosh computers

Great scanner for three-dimensional objects!2009-02-11
I originally purchased my Epson Perfection V350 in 2007 because I needed a reliable scanner that could handle three dimensional objects and alleviate all the set up time, tricky lighting requirements and the expense of digital photography equipment. Because I need to do a high volume of imaging each day, I needed something quick, easy and efficient.

The CCD sensor of the Epson Perfection gives me great depth of field... far superior to the blurry CIS technology offered by other flat bed scanners on the market today. My three dimensional objects come out sharp and clear, as well as true to their original color. At an average of twenty scans per day, my Epson Perfection V350 still remains reliable after more than a year of constant use!

Great little 3-D scanner for the price, and I would happily recommend it to anyone in the craft business looking for an affordable, fast and easy way to image their inventory.
Leave Me Alone2008-12-24
Writing a review is OPTIONAL. If I don't have the time and I pass up on the review, Amazon has no business sending me not one but two more emails to review the product. The scanner works just fine by the way. But your treatment makes me not want to order again very soon.
Great scanner but overpriced on Amazon.2008-09-17
I just spoke with Epson, and they tell me the manufacurer's suggested price for the Epson V350 is $129.99. Unless their customer service is mistaken, the one offered here on Amazon is overpriced.
Not too bad, but....2008-05-04
The scanner works GREAT, and automatically creates a .jpg image the exact size of your photo -- not like other scanners that makes an 8.5 x 11 image with white in the background. HOWEVER, if you have A LOT of photos, you will have to scan them one at a time. The negative loader works well, too.

The problem with this product is the software. It's not easy to get your settings (and I'm an advanced user!), and it's a bit slow. I would've given more stars for the quality of the scan, but the software is really, really, bad.

Also, if you have a lot of photos, you can send them off to be scanned for the same price as this scanner.
Very Good Product2008-04-09
We purchased the Epson Perfection V350 on 03/09/2008. With the free shipping it arrived in only a few days. The installation was effortless on Windows XP-SP2. Operation is so easy "that my computer illiterate wife could use it" her quote! No complaints so far. We have not used the 35mm neg. scan option yet. Our last scanner was an Epson and we had no problems with for 4 years until it finally burned out. We hope the Perfection V350 last as long.

Professional video camera
A Professional video camera (often called a Television camera even though the use has spread) is a high-end device for recording electronic moving images (as opposed to a movie camera, that records the images on film). Originally developed for use in television studios, they are now commonly used for corporate and educational videos, music videos, direct-to-video movies, etc. There are two types of professional video cameras: High end portable, recording cameras (essentially, high-end camcorders) used for ENG and EFP image acquisition, and studio cameras which lack the recording capability of a camcorder, and are often fixed on studio pedestals. Portable professional cameras are generally much larger than consumer cameras and are designed to be carried on the shoulder. Technology It is common for professional cameras to split the incoming light into the three primary colors that humans are able to see, feeding each color into a separate pickup tube (in older cameras) or charge ...
Core 2 Duo Scaling
Laptop Scaling Intel's Core 2 Duo is easily the best mobile processor on the market today, boasting sky-high performance and low power consumption. But which CPU is for you: the super expensive T7600, the bargain-priced T5500, or something in between? This article will first take a look at the various versions of Core 2 Duo that Intel has to offer. We will compare Core 2 Duo clocked at four speed grades: 2.33GHz, 2.16GHz, 2GHz, and 1.83GHz in a variety of benchmarks and let you know how to get your best bang for the buck. Note: We will refer to a Core 2 Duo “T7000multiple times in this article. We were unable to get a Merom sample with 2MB L2 cache, thus we lowered the clock speed of our 4MB L2 model to 1.83GHz to perform near that of the T5600 (1.83GHz, 2MB L2 cache), resulting in our unofficial “T7000nomenclature. The Core 2 Duo Processor Intel has two lines of Core 2 Duo processors: notebook and desktop. Core 2 Duo for notebooks is codenamed Merom, while Core ...
