Based on the "Z" family of products, the Super Z6 is designed for vehicles with restricted clearance around the drive tires. The Super Z6 requires only 6.33 millimeters (.25 inches) of sidewall clearance to operate, less than half the space required by most cable and tire chains.

Easy to Install
A split outside cable with two fastening positions allows for easy installation without moving the vehicle, so there's no need to stop and retighten. The traction coils are manufactured from alloy steel to increase the lifespan of the product. The Super Z6 is also designed to prevent scratching of alloy or high performance tire rims.

The Super Z6 is available to fit passenger cars, pickups, and SUV tire sizes. It offers a unique combination of performance and convenience features for every user, including a "designed-in" rubber tightener, better all-around traction performance than conventional tire chains or cables, and greater durability.

Best "chains" for the money2008-12-26
After searching "high and low" for an affordable, easy-to-install solution for my tires in the snow, this is it. The included carry bag is attractive and neat, the product is well made and the installation was pretty easy (after watching the online video and reading the included instructions. Be sure to practice at home first. The fact that these cables can be installed without moving the car at all is not only convenient but also very assuring if one is *already* stuck and *cannot* move the car. Some suggestions: Get a pair of "mechanics gloves" ($10-$20), a small camp shovel (foldable / collapsable), a "headlamp" flashlight and a kneepad...these things combined with this product will make it possible to put these on in virtually any situation regardless of weather and time of day.
Bad sizing from the manufacturer2008-12-21
SZ 139 for the Super Z6 do not fit P225/55/18 like they say. I am very dissapointed with this manufacturer. My tires are as common as they come, GOODYEAR EAGLE and the cables do not come even close to fit them. Another thing, these connectors are so poorely designed, just try to link one (from the exterior side of the tire and you will see). Very, very bad.
Fits my 2009 Forester2008-11-14
The Subaru manual said tire chains can't be used due to not enough clearance between tires and vehicle body. I doubt I will need them, but since I do mountain winter driving I like to have a pair just in case.
I tried the Security Chain Super Z6. They fit fine on my P225/55R17 tires.
I laid an old carpet from my garage down the driveway to the street.
I had someone back the car down and drive back several times while I observed the cables on the tires. There was plenty of clearance between the tire and the vehicle parts inside the wheel well. These limited clearance cables work as advertised. VERY easy to install.

Bought it to drive to CO for skiing last Feb. Didn't use them but it was nice to have along. They look like a good sturdy product.

After considerable research I ordered a pair of these from Amazon. They arrived very quickly. As recommended, I tried them on my 07 Chevy Impala prior to stowing them in the trunk. They are the "easiest to install" snow chains/cables I have ever used...and I have used a bunch of them. They are also easy to remove. We'll see how well they perform when I get caught in a snowstorm. Be sure to put a good pair of gloves in the handy carrying bag...the plastic pair provided are a joke.
