Don't go home without it!2008-09-10
I generally don't purchase product insurance but decided to get this since I wanted more "hand holding" since I was a recent convert from Windows to an iMac. Registering the product was easy - I even messed up and didn't remember that the serial number to use is on the reciept...kept looking for it on the box. Even when I entered a wrong number, the next day when I figured out my error, Applecare had gone ahead and registered my plan! How it that for having someone there that has some intelligence! So, if you want some piece of mind...buy the plan. If you're a risk taker and just trust that your iMac will be fine...skip it.
Good product slow registration2008-08-29
I'm pleased with the extended warranty. However, I did have trouble registering the warranty. It took about 10 days before the apple website would accept my information, although it ultimately did and I now have an extended warranty.
Imac Applecare2008-08-19
This is a must for every Imac owner. Used it already and spoke with a guy in Houston, Tx. He went above and beyond anything I have experienced to make sure the problem was corrected. Apple is definitely setting the pace for other manufacturers to follow. Amazon has a good price on the product.
