This innovative drum handler is designed to easily move a rimmed 55-gallon drum onto and off pallets up to 6" high, and move drum around your facility. It is an ergonomic, simple-to-use, and economical way to transport drums around your facility. Simple to operate. Designed for use with rimmed drums. To lower the drum to floor or onto a pallet, the operator pushes down and uses the two hand operated releases and allows the handle to rise. The length of the handle provides leverage to manage the descent of the drum gently. The forged steel hooks release their hold after the drum settles on the floor or pallet deck. This picture also shows the starting position for lifting a drum from the floor. The handle of the Drum-Spotter is conveniently held up by a gas spring. The ratchets stop the handle in position for the operator to take hold and use it. These ratchets also hold the weight of the drum. Designed for use with rimmed drums: 22" to 23-1/2" (56 - 60 cm) diameter, 34" to 36" (86-92 cm) tall, Closed 55 gallon (210 liter) steel, tight-head or removable top type.
