Doesnt work with Ford Sync
2009-07-03I loaded this with 900 songs and it keeps knocking out the computer in my car. Nothing wrong with the drive it just doesnt work with the Ford Sync. I reformatted it to fat32 and that didnt help either. I use it for other data transfer and it works fine. I have an 2 older Kingston 4mb flash drives that both work fine in the car. I have 2 of these and neither one of them will work in the car and they both cause the SYNC to stop functioning.

I love these guys
2009-06-30It's a nice size - small, but not so small that you worry about losing it. And at 8GB it holds quite a bit - good for transferring files between computers especially netbooks since they don't have dvd/cd drives.
The only thing I would wish for is a retractable USB connector instead of the cap. However the retractable USB connector got stuck on my old one which was why I bought this one.

Excellent product
2009-06-29I have had this drive for about 6 months and use it primarily for a backup drive - no problems and works as expected

The item and the same make, but not equal the photo i saw at the time of purchase.

NICE DRIVE BUT THE CHEAPEST CASE YOU CAN IMMAGINE!
2009-06-27The drive is fine. But the case and cover for the drive is garbage. The plastic is so brittle, thin and cheap that it is worthless. The plastic is so cheap I wonder how anyone can say this drive is worth the money. You could not give me one of these Kingston Drives. If someone tried giving me a cheap Kingston Drive, I'd say no thank you. Buying a Kingston Drive is like knowingly buying trash.
Why buy a USB device made so cheap it starts self destructing the minute you take it out of the package.
Do yourself a favor if you are an active person and forget this junk! To bad there is no way to give a negative star rating for this trash. Technically the stoarge device is actually pretty good and fast too. The problem with the Kingston Traveler is you have a great storage device wrapped in a thin cheaper than garbage plastic case that can't be worth 5 cents on a good day.

Digital camera batteries
Batteries are vital for all photography and makiing sure that you have a spare set is essential if you intend to take alot of pictures. Print digital also recommend that when deciding upon a digital camera keep in mind what sort of batteries it takes. Does it take rechargeable batteries, are the batteries built and do you have to plug it into the mains, or does the camera only take standard batteries, if so then it can become exspensive if you are a keen photographer and use the camera alot.
There are three types of rechargeable batteries: NiCD, NiMH and Lithium-Ion. Nickel Metal Hydride are the most popular rechargeable batteries at present. They hold more charge than their counter parts NiCD and don't suffer from memory effect. The one small down fall of these batteries is that they will loose a small amount of charge even if they are not being used, so be sure to check the batteries before using them.
When you purchase a new digital camera make sure to ask what type of battery ...
