Product Description:
For impressive video and still images, Panasonic PV-GS320 is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, but is not short on innovative features. This camcorder incorporates the same type of 3CCD imaging system used in Panasonic's celebrated professional camcorders. Individual CCDs are used to reproduce the red, green and blue colors that compose an image for vivid, true-to-life pictures with remarkable depth and presence. The PV-GS320 also features the sophisticated Leica Dicomar lens, which has become known for its ability to capture and finely render the most delicate nuances of light and shade. The PV-GS320 also offers 16:9 widescreen format recording (to fill the screens of new widescreen TV models) as well as standard 4:3. It has a 2.7" widescreen LCD on camera for easy viewing. It uses Optical Image Stabilization, that compensates for normal hand movement, to reduce blur and assure that still and video images are beautifully crisp and clear. High-resolution digital still images can be captured via the GS320's built-in digital still camera feature, which records to a stamp-sized SD or SDHC Memory Card. The PV-GS320 features high-speed USB 2.0 for high quality full-motion video transfer, in addition to standard audio and video connecting ports. It is a great camera.
2010-01-26I am very happy with this camcorder, I recently bought this because I was getting tired of my panasonic pvgs85 and decided to upgrade to this, and I must say it produces very high quality videos for its price, I film a lot of things like skateboarding, movies for projects, family stuff and all that jazz, but the thing that brought me down the most was the low lighting on this camera, it isnt too good so if your looking to make movies and such and night time then you should find another camera, but other than that the 3ccd proves itself, it has brilliant colors and its very lightweight. I give this camera a 4 out of 5 only becuase of the low light settings, but other than that its one of the best I've ever purchased.

Video quality is not very good
2009-12-03Need to do manual adjustments if you want video to be less than lousy (still not very good, though). Looks pretty bad on a large TV.
Camera pics are normal video camera quality; not worth using.
I'll try again in a few years with a hi def video camera when the prices hit close to what I paid for this model. My ancient video cameras take better video (vhs-c and huge old Canon mini dv).

Nifty Camcorder for its Time
2009-12-01When I started out as a video producer, I never dreamed they would invent a standard definition, broadcast quality camera you could hold in the palm of your hand, but here it is. With good lighting, a decent digital audio recorder and the right software and editing, you could produce a TV documentary that would fool a professional! My one regret is, by the year 2012, high definition will be so popular it will make this once popular format appear obsolete.

very good producat and fast service
2009-09-05i give him 5 star i got very good camara and fast service i strongally recoumand the sellar

Wonderful
2009-04-29The seller sent the product in a timely manner, arranging for out-of-the-country shipping to Costa Rica, which took a little extra effort. The unit is in near-perfect cosmetic shape and works up to specifications. I would buy from this seller again. A good experience.

The VHS format is the oldest type of camcorder. This type of video camcorder
is fast becoming outdated, because you can only play back
the video on a VHS VCR system. VHS
camcorders are not nearly as clear as digital
video camcorders that offer clear video with 540 lines of resolution,
VHS video cameras only offer 240 lines of resolution. They also weigh more
and are much more bulky, that dv camcorders. You can only find these video
camera used because their technology is now outdated.
VHS-C
The VHS-C format offer 240 lines of resolution, just like VHS. These analog
camcorders come in a smaller size that the VHS camcorder models, but use
the same technology. The video tapes u ...
