Great!
2009-06-13This Battery is GREAT! It's is a lot bigger than the standard batterty that comes with the camera, but, I guess it would have to be to hold the charge required to give you the length of time that it boast. A+++ Product

battery life
2009-06-13This battery is great. A little big but it is great to be able to record some big event and not worry that you battery is running low. It gave me 12 hours of life. I love not having to charge so often. I is really great for vacations.

Great Battery!! It is big, but did not get in my way.
2009-06-11This battery is just great (I got a great price on it too!). At first, I has hesitant to buy it because of the comments about its size, and how it made it impossible to use the viewfinder on some user's cameras. I have a Sony HDR SR11, and I didn't think it was a problem. It is almost double the size of the NPFH70, and does stick out from the camera. However, I could still use the viewfinder with no problem. The NPFH100 does rest against my cheekbone if I'm using the viewfinder, but that actually doesn't bother me as it makes it easier to steady the camera. The way I have my camera bag configured, it makes the camera too big to fit in its slot, but for the big difference in battery time, I think its worth the trouble to just switch back in the NPFH70 when I bag the camera (I always carry 2 batteries anyway). I can now go on my first European vacation with no worries that I'll run out of battery time. Yay!

battery life is good, it is the extra cost for sony product
2009-06-08I bought it for a camcorder. The battery along with the camcorder is Sony 60H, it can only last 100 mins after charging. The 100H shows over 300 mins. To be honest, the first thing to consider for a sony camcorder is its battery, your hard disk wont be full after using several times of full charged battery. It means you have to always prepare for an extra battery. It's true, and you have to consider the extra investment for sony product, such as battery, charger, and so on. They are quite expensive.
As for the quality of the battery, it is good.
But it is a little longer than the sony 60H battery. There is an extra length after putting it in my sony sr 11 camcorder, which supports this type of battery, but it looks awkward for its extra longer part.

A Scam
2009-05-27I bought this on ebay 15 days ago. I received it today and was awfully disapointed and had to warn someone about this. Of course this is probably not on every unit of this battery because I haven't found another place on the internet that presents a similar issue. Here it is: When I received it today, I put it directly in my camcorder (HDR-XR520V). The remaining time that was indicated by the LCD was of 284 minutes (a little less than 5 hours, which is half as much as advertised). But this isn't the worse part; as I let the camcorder on for a little less than 5 minutes, the indicated power was down to 190 minutes. I observed the LCD screen for a brief period, and noticed that about once each 5 seconds the indicated power goes down by a minute. After less than an hour, the power was completly drained out at the camcorder was dead by shortness of power.
In short, I was not impressed by this batterie's power supply. I strongly recommend to each and everyone of you who wants to buy this battery to get a SOLID guarantee. It's a shame that I have to write this against a company that I usually trust, but here it is...

Printer Buying Guide
What kind of printer is best for me?
Choosing the right printer can be a daunting task. There are several different types of printing technology to choose from, each suited for different needs. Printers come in all shapes and sizes, from tiny travel companions to workgroup workhorses; some are geared toward photographers, others are for multitaskers. And the many specifications for resolution and speed can be misleading. As a rule of thumb, inkjet printers are a must for long-lasting photos, while laser printers are best to produce speedy text documents.

Camera Parts & Features - these are standard or basic features on a camera. Your camera may have different features. If you have any questions, please e-mail me.
View Finder - A small eyepiece or screen on the camera that allows you to see the image you're recording. (The camera also acts as a VCR, so you can play back and watch what you have already recorded through the view finder).
White Balance - If you ever ended up with yellow-tinted video, chances are you forgot to white balance. It's worthwhile to white balance every time you use your camera to get the highest quality video. If your camera doesn't have this feature, it may have an automatic or internal system. What white balancing does is adjust the intensity of the colors being recorded according to the existing light. Make sure you white balance every time the lighting conditions change; if you record video inside and then go outside, your lighting conditions have changed and you need to instruc ...
