Kingston Quality
2008-11-21Problem free. I use this in my Kingston MobileLite USB adapter and they work well with every computer I've plugged them in to. I also have Kingston 2GB SD, 2GB MicroSD, and 1Gb MicroSD, all have performed problem free.

Kingston 8GB SDHC Class 6 Flash Card SD6/8GB
2008-11-20Kingston has made extremely good quality flash memory products now for a number of years, and this SD card is no exception. Very fast, great value, and it "just works" -- as one would expect it to! The price of flash memory right now is amazing, and this card is a fantastic value. My first memory card, 4 years ago, cost 9x as much yet had 16x less space than this card -- and was tremendously slower. Simply amazing. Anyway, you can't go wrong with Kingston CF or SD cards. Just buy it!

Write failure
2008-11-19
This card insists that it's write protected regardless of where I put the little switch. I do not have this problem with any of my other SD cards in sizes from 64mb to 4gb. It's going back.

Professional video camera
A Professional video camera (often called a Television camera even though the use has spread) is a high-end device for recording electronic moving images (as opposed to a movie camera, that records the images on film). Originally developed for use in television studios, they are now commonly used for corporate and educational videos, music videos, direct-to-video movies, etc.
There are two types of professional video cameras: High end portable, recording cameras (essentially, high-end camcorders) used for ENG and EFP image acquisition, and studio cameras which lack the recording capability of a camcorder, and are often fixed on studio pedestals. Portable professional cameras are generally much larger than consumer cameras and are designed to be carried on the shoulder.
Technology
It is common for professional cameras to split the incoming light into the three primary colors that humans are able to see, feeding each color into a separate pickup tube (in older cameras) or charge ...
