The Kodak Easyshare EX-1011 digital picture frame plays vibrant slideshows of your favorite pictures and video set to music. The frames are color-tuned to Kodak standards and use Kodak Color Science for vibrant colors and pleasing skin tones - displaying pictures in brilliant color and crisp detail. Set up is a snap, and you can enjoy any JPEG picture, most video types (MPEG 1 and 4, MOV, AVI) and MP3 music using all the popular memory card formats (CF, SD, MMC, xD and MS). You can also source digital files from any digital still camera, home PC, Jump Drive and Flash Drive via USB 2.0. Stereo speakers are built into the frames for dramatic sound accompaniment to your slide shows. The 10-inch (diagonal) 800 x 480 high resolution digital display features a 16:9 aspect ratio, as well as wireless access of pictures, videos and music from your home PC or online at KODAK Gallery over a standard wireless home network. The frame has 128 MB of built-in memory for storing pictures and videos, built-in stereo speakers, and headphone jack for music.

easy set-up, nice quality.2009-06-27
I have had this stuff for more than a year, never brings me any trouble. I basically slide the memory card in and turn it on, and it starts to show photos. Very smart product. The only down side is that the black frame is a bit too much.
Kodak SV-710 hasn't the best resolution...2009-05-31
Save your money and buy a Digital Picture Frame with more resolution. Its worth the extra investment. This Kodak is ok for the money, but better resolution is the way to go..
WiFi Capable? -- Not with Kodak!!2009-05-31
You can't even use the wifi features of this frame when Kodak deletes all of your pictures. If you can't use the Kodak Gallery (only on-line service supported), then you might as well save some money, and buy another frame that uses portable storage. Very, very, very disappointed. I responded to every warning from Kodak with a reminder that I was using the gallery with my frame. THEY DELETED MY PICTURES ANYWAY!!!
Great frame but could use some updates2009-05-16
I have had this frame for about 2 years and have really enjoyed it. The screen resolution and colors look great to me. Yes they are a little over saturated but it doesn't bother me and actually makes the pictures more attractive.

The Wifi works great for me with WEP and the frame is awesome at sensing any media servers.

I use kodakgallery for all my printing so pretty much all of my pictures are on their site. Luckily, this frame works VERY well with streaming pics from their website. You can see all of your albums as well as friend's albums which is really awesome.

The things I wish it had was a way to default the frame to start showing an album from kodakgallery when turned on. It always defaults to the local pictures on the frame which is pretty annoying. Also, as many others have mentioned, it would be nice to have a random feature that could show you different pictures every day.

All in all, I think it is a great frame and you should feel confident purchasing it.
Excellent frame... wireless not a good value2009-05-06

Excellent frame... however, the wireless features on this frame were not a good value for me.

Honestly... I thought I could use the auto on and off features along with the wireless features... nope... when using the wireless features and it automatically comes on in the evening, it reverts back to some innocuous sample pictures on the frame... and I have to click a few extra buttons on the so so remote control to bring back my preselected hard drive pictures or my online Kodak Gallery Pictures... granted it's only a couple of extra clicks - but they surely didn't have to design it in this way...

I don't want to have to fiddle with it everyday... that was the whole point... so I loaded a usb flash drive, and every evening I automatically get to see my usb flash drive pictures... and so I could have easily done without the wireless features, as they currently exist on this frame...

The remote control is only so so... happened to get my SO the newer model Kodak Easyshare 720 with touch frame controls... I love the touch frame controls and it is so much easier and so much more responsive to use than the remote control...

Oh yeah... setting up the wireless features (such as they exist) were incredibly simple and user friendly...

Maybe the next generation 1020 wireless is an improvement? Don't know...
