Canon PSC-1000 leather case2008-11-07
Great case. Lightweight, the camera fits in it perfectly, and it's easy to get out.

The only complaint was they have what looks like a whole that you would put the wrist strap through, but when you do it's near impossible to get the camera out. Not sure what it's there for. We just let the strap come out of the side. But it keeps the camera safe.
Best Camera Case2008-10-23
This is a great case for my new camera (Canon SD1100). Camera fits perfectly without being too tight. And the closure is a magnetic snap, not velcro (which I hate)!
CHEAP! NOT WORTHY OF THE CANON NAME!! RETURNED2008-10-18
WOW! Never left a review before but this is such a poor product that I think prospective customers should be forewarned. We've owned an s300 with canon case, sd450 with a beautiful red leather canon case, sd1100IS, a550, a560, 570IS and a 590IS. WE've loved all our canon cameras and accessaries until now. We recently purchased a new sd1100IS and we didn't hesitate to order the DELUXE BLUE LEATHER CASE psc-1000 to match the blue camera. This case is the poorest quality item I have ever seen passed off as a camera case, period. It looks like thin vinyl glued on thin cardboard. CHEAP, CHEAP!! I wasn't aware that leather can be made that thin. It even has a pattern on the leather that makes it look even more like plastic. There is a belt loop on the back which other customers have reported to pull out of the cardboard when used. I believe it would too. Then there is the matter of smell. This case has a terrible odor to it as well as the quality issues. Fit is extremely tight for our sd1100 which canon says it was made for. There is no, I repeat no room for any storage as is advertised so forget taking a battery or card along. The hole in the top of the case for the camera strap will not accomodate the canon camera stap unless you choose to enlarge it. Overall this is the poorest example of a leather camera case we have ever seen. Can't believe Canon is willing to put their name on such a POOR QUALITY item. Makes us afraid to order another canon accessary without having held one in our own hands first. We are returning this piece of junk at our expense. We are required to cover the cost of shipping to return. I won't even sell this on our Ebay account as I'm afraid of recieving negative feedback over the POOR QUALITY. If you buy this you WILL be disapointed! What happened Canon? You really dropped the ball on this one. We will also be contacting Canon regarding the psc-1000. Read and learn.
Wife loves it2008-10-17
My wife got this to go with her cannon camera, and she loves it! It's a perfect fit, and the colors matched perfectly. The strap for the camera goes through a slot in the top of the case so you can carry it by a strap. The clasp was just a magnet, which surprised my wife.
Does the job for the right price2008-10-12
This is a very sturdy case that fits the Canon SD1000 perfectly, with an easy magnetic close. As others have mentioned, it does make it too bulky for a man to carry in his pants pocket, but I was really just looking for something that would make me comfortable with tossing it in my purse and letting it jostle around with everything else in there.

The wrist strap is a tight fit through the hole at the top, but threading it through makes it difficult to retrieve the camera and take photos, so I usually just let the strap stick out the side.

Overall I am very happy with this product, considering how little I paid - be aware that one of the product descriptions is incorrect, though. The leather is NOT soft and the case fits nothing beyond the camera itself.
