Better than expected. Using as ready boost with Vista, U3 was not problem. Was asked if I wanted U3 installed during initial set up. Very user friendly.
It's decent--does what a flash drive should do2009-06-06
I've had mine for a couple of months now. It's been working dutifully. If anything, I just wish it'd be more simple. It seems to come with all of these programs installed on it. I neither know nor am interested in what they are for. Perhaps, if I had more important documents, they could be of more use to me. I just bought it because it was on sale for a good price and has ample space for my needs (I am student).

I bought this drive because so many of the reviews on amazon.com were favorable. However, I've only had my cruzer drive for about 3-4 months and it is no longer working. One day I was using the drive and the computer stopped recognizing it and it stopped flashing. I initially thought it might be a computer issue and i switched computers but no luck. I've taken very good care of this drive so you can imagine my disappointment that it died in MONTHS! Save your money and buy a product that actually works.

This is the third one of the sandisk series i have purchased. I like every one of them. Especially the design, with the retractable USB. Other ones you end up losing the cap to them all the time. and if you lose the cap you end up putting it in your pocket or somewhere and end up breaking off the USB end.With this product no cap to lose and the precious part that plugs into your computer slides into to protect itself.

Bought this after my S*ny micro-vault died in less than a year of gently use. Got it, plugged it in and saw proprietary software....mmmm, yah/.
Well, the proprietary is actually pretty use full. It's security software that password protects your drive and keeps folders synced, which is kinda cool. It only uses about 20mb's of space, and doesn't install on your computer.
But, if you don't like that stuff you can always format.
The drive itself is nice, compact, and sturdy feeling. The clear (or white) part on the top is actually a light, it flashes quickly when it's being accessed, slowly when it's safe to remove, which is a nice touch.
The drive preforms like a champ. Read and Write and very, very fast ( around 42 mb/s).
I'd definitely buy another one or four for the price. :)
