A great little card reader at a reasonable price
2008-11-26I bought this card reader for regular size SD cards because I wanted to use it to put music that's on my computer onto an SD card to play on my Wii in one of the games. It can also read microSD and MMC cards which will come in handy if I ever want to transfer anything from my cell phone. The little cap type cover would make it simple to throw in my purse or pocket to take along if I wanted to transfer photos from my digital camera to my laptop when traveling. It transfers quickly and trouble free.
The price is reasonable and I've always had great luck with Sandisk products in the past. I bought my first Sandisk memory card when the first removable memory came out for cameras and have never had any problem with any of them, so I expect this to last a long, long time.

Scandisk
2008-11-23I bought the Mobile Mate SD & am very happy w/it. I no longer have to hunt for the cord to my camera & hook it to the computer. I highly recommend this product.

Inexpensive, compact and works like a dream
2008-11-19I recently misplaced the connection cable for my Kodak Digital camera and perused both Amazon and eBay for a replacement cable only to find pretty much only large, bulky, expensive camera docks. Cables get lost and are bulky and get tangled with things so my attention then turned to an SD Card Reader, although I didn't think it would be as portable as a connection cable. I happened upon this item and new instantly that if it worked, it would be perfect.
Sure enough, it works perfectly. I have not used it for Micro SD, but SD only with 2GB Memory Card filled only with jpg images. Essentially what this device does is turn that SD card into a thumb drive to upload directly to your computer and download from your computer to the SD card. Being so small it can fit just about anywhere and it makes the SD card much more versatile. This thing is a steal for the price and even if you don't have a use for it now, once you have it, I'm going to be you would use it and get $9 of value out of it.

Card reader
2008-11-13This works great. Don't have to remove my GPS to add or remove MP3 on my SD card. Just pull the card insert it into the Memory Card Reader and open my Media Player and here I go. Also works great with my phone micro SD card for moving pictures to my PC.

Works great!
2008-11-09Small and compact, does what it's supposed to do. I usually just plug my camera/phone/Sansa into the computer's USB and download that way, so didn't realize my built-in card slots couldn't read SDHC cards. For @$10 this little reader fixes that.
SanDisk is a great company, I have a whole list of products registered with them. If you don't like the website just call them, they can look up your info from your phone number if you've called before.

Core 2 Duo Scaling
Laptop Scaling
Intel's Core 2 Duo is easily the best mobile processor on the market today, boasting sky-high performance and low power consumption. But which CPU is for you: the super expensive T7600, the bargain-priced T5500, or something in between?
This article will first take a look at the various versions of Core 2 Duo that Intel has to offer. We will compare Core 2 Duo clocked at four speed grades: 2.33GHz, 2.16GHz, 2GHz, and 1.83GHz in a variety of benchmarks and let you know how to get your best bang for the buck.
Note: We will refer to a Core 2 Duo “T7000multiple times in this article. We were unable to get a Merom sample with 2MB L2 cache, thus we lowered the clock speed of our 4MB L2 model to 1.83GHz to perform near that of the T5600 (1.83GHz, 2MB L2 cache), resulting in our unofficial “T7000nomenclature.
