Donald J Pliner Women's Tiff Peep Toe Pump

I purchased these in the dark chocolate brown and I couldn't be more pleased with them. They arrived beautifully packaged and when I put them on they felt as if they were made just for me. They fit true to size and were cut in a way where every part of my foot, even my sensitive bunion area, was comfortable. They also stay on well and do not slip off the heel. The first thing I noticed about them was the high quality. Italian made as well.

The proportions of this shoe are great, where the pointy look of the toe is chic but not too sharp. The heels are high but low enough to remain walkable even for long-ish distances. They are tasteful and beautiful all the way around - a great purchase.

I have been looking for these shoes for several months, not wanting to pay full retail (over $300) for them. I ordered them on Amazon not sure of what I would receive. Was I surprised! I received authentic Donald J. Pliner shoes, with the shoe horn and bag, in an original box, in new and unopened condition. I will definitely order from this site again and I LOVE my shoes (even more because I paid far less than retail for them).

I bought these in red and they go with everything. The sole is made of some sort of rubber that makes them feel like tennis shoes. I wear pumps daily and these are my most comfortable shoes. I wear them when I travel because I can walk all day without getting blisters or sore feet. I recommend these shoes and will be buying more.

Wow. Where do I begin? Let's start with what is good about this shoe. It is beautifully made and well-constructed. But the positives end there.

What's wrong with the shoe:

1) TERRIBLE FIT. The fit it terrible -- I ususally wear 8.5M in dress heels, and the length was too short and toe box too tight. It was 1/2 to 1 size too small.

2) LOOKS CHEAP. I ordered the red croc. The leather is thick, stiff & shiny. Quite frankly, it looked cheap, like something from Payless or Walmart.

3) DOESN'T ENHANCE. Finally, the shoe does nothing for the foot. Because of the way it cuts across the top, it widens and shortens the foot. I prefer shoes that enlongate the foot.

Simply put, this shoe is unattractive. It went back without hesitation.

This is a fabulous pump! With it's open toe, it is flirtatious and sexy, but in the moc croc, it is very lady-like and refined. It's great in every single color. The heel is high but not impossibly so. I liked it so much I bought it in two colors and bought a pair for my daughter in a 3rd color!
