must have pinball game2010-03-07
If your looking for a fast paced, extremely fun pinball game .this is the one to get.
Good graphics and sound, the tables in this collection are very fun to play unlike some of the other collections out
there.you know the ones where you rarely get to use the flippers, the ball just rolls down the middle or goes right to the
out lanes. The controls on the wii are much better than other systems when it comes to playing pinball, you get to hold one flipper control
in each hand as far apart or as close together as you want to,unlike the x-box 360.one controller in both hands. If you love the silver ball
then the williams collection is for you.Gaurenteed hours of fun.If you like more of a challenge and have the patience, then you might want to
try the gottlieb collection. There you'll find the old quarter sucking tables wich i will master now that i don't have to keep putting quarters in.
price at amazon was half the price of any store I found this game in.Even cheaper than some of the used ones I found in the trade in stores.
granny playing wii2010-03-01
This is a great game. Reminds me of playing pinball as a kid. If you like pinball you need this game. Its awesome.
Great fun, somewhat random selection2010-01-29
Simply put, this is a very fun and addictive game. I won't repeat all of the details of other reviews, but the games are incredibly realistic and the Wii controls are easy to use. The Williams Challenge is a lot of fun because you get to move from game to game in a single challenge. My main gripe is that the selection of games is a little random. While some of the games (Taxi, Funhouse) are very well known, others don't seem to be "greatest hits" and/or haven't necessarily stood the test of time. They are still fun games to play on the Wii, but at least for me I only had actual memories of playing a few of these games. Here's hoping this is just Volume 1!

Other minor improvements I'd like to see:

1. It doesn't appear that you can save your progress during the Williams Challenge, meaning you have to play ALL the games in a single sitting, which can take quite a long time. It is also unclear how the scoring works for the Challenge.

2. It is difficult to adjust the camera angle while you are playing (you must hit the "1" button while continuing to make sure you don't lose the ball) so it's been hard for me to figure out which angle I like best. You can't choose an angle before the turn starts because they you only get "Plunger Cam" angles.

3. I'd like to see an easy "Restart" button instead of having to quit out of the entire game and then reload it.

Other than that, this is a great game and well worth the money. Hours and hours of fun and a great challenge.
Very close to the real experience2010-01-28
All things considered, for 20 bucks, this is a fantastic deal. If you own a Wii and like playing pinball, this is a must have.

I was really surprised by how close to playing a real pinball game this is. The physics are very, very close to real and I am quite discriminating. You can do ball "saves" exactly like it is done with the real game especially if you are just using the flippers without trying to move the table. I'm not great at physically moving the game to save balls in real life, but I do have a little skill using the technique. Using the Wii controller and nunchuck to only move one side appears to slide the table to the side you want. This is very impressive.

The game reproductions themselves are also very good. I've played most of these games in real life and I cannot discern any difference at all.

Having the table goals and varied game play is also a nice touch.

Don't get me wrong, this is not like having a real pin in your basement, but if you have a big TV its pretty close. And having a dozen classic pins for 20 bucks that replaces 20 grand worth of pinball machines with no maintenance is awesome!
Classic pinball2010-01-27
Looks the same, but anyone that played these games growing up will know that its never the same as playing the real thing.
Fun to see and play this, but nothing will compare to the real thing.
