Do NOT recommend2009-05-19
After my son was born, I was in the market for a new digital camera. I wanted to catch him as he grew up. I read up on many reviews and this seemed to be the camera everyone was raving about at the time. My last digital was a Kodak, which took nice pictures, I just wanted something new.

Although this camera looks nice, I am so disappointed with the pictures. Every inside photo I take comes out grainy. Outside photos are fine, but babies spend most of their first few months in doors, and because of this camera, I have grainy, blurry first photos of my son. I tried having a photographer look at the camera and try to "adjust" it, but that actually made things worse and I just reset to the factory settings. In the end we ended up shelving this camera and just using the old Kodak, which is more reliable than this thing.

All in all, I feel ripped off, I hate this camera and will never buy another Panasonic camera ever again!
Great camera2008-10-03
I really like this camera, it is sturdy, and easy to carry. I'm not a professional, but it appears to take great pictures.
pretty good2008-05-29
Bought this for my wife. Like the wide angle. Hate the shutter lag. Video is very good. I use a Nikon d200 w/ half a dozen great lenses so I am pretty picky. This ain't no D200, but for $250 and a compact size it works for casual snapshot photos. Shutterlag however is killer (bad).
nice pictures... and strong?2008-05-18
I bought FX100 and took almost thousand pictures. I got nice quality pictures... I like this cam. But I made a terrible mistake that my camera was fallen from my belt cam wallet on the cement ground. Shhhhhhhit~ But this is still ok now... I could take pictures and motions as same as before...
Nice little camera2008-05-16
I like this camera because its small. maybe have not the same quality of the canon cameras but it is good enough for holiday pictures..

Professional video camera
A Professional video camera (often called a Television camera even though the use has spread) is a high-end device for recording electronic moving images (as opposed to a movie camera, that records the images on film). Originally developed for use in television studios, they are now commonly used for corporate and educational videos, music videos, direct-to-video movies, etc. There are two types of professional video cameras: High end portable, recording cameras (essentially, high-end camcorders) used for ENG and EFP image acquisition, and studio cameras which lack the recording capability of a camcorder, and are often fixed on studio pedestals. Portable professional cameras are generally much larger than consumer cameras and are designed to be carried on the shoulder. Technology It is common for professional cameras to split the incoming light into the three primary colors that humans are able to see, feeding each color into a separate pickup tube (in older cameras) or charge ...
Printer Buying Guide
What kind of printer is best for me? Choosing the right printer can be a daunting task. There are several different types of printing technology to choose from, each suited for different needs. Printers come in all shapes and sizes, from tiny travel companions to workgroup workhorses; some are geared toward photographers, others are for multitaskers. And the many specifications for resolution and speed can be misleading. As a rule of thumb, inkjet printers are a must for long-lasting photos, while laser printers are best to produce speedy text documents. User types: Home user | Budding novelist | Digital photographer | Entrepreneur | Corporate cog | Frequent flier Home userĀ  The home user demands a lot from a printer.
