Seemed like a good idea
2009-12-11We thought this would be a great gift for our 7 year old last year, and not too expensive for a kids' camera. It worked fine (not amazing quality, but fine for her) until we tried to hook it up to our tv to watch the videos. Suddenly the camera didn't even turn on anymore. Customer service said we needed better quality batteris but we weren't able to find any batteries that made a difference. We returned it and got our money back.

Junk
2009-10-17After a week it wouldn't work any more, it would not turn on. There was no reason for it not to work, my daughter did not drop it or damage it in any way. The price seemed good, but not for a week's worth of playing with it. I would rather have spent more money for a camera that actually worked! Don't waste your money!

Good for younger kids
2009-05-08The quality is ok - not great - not even good actually - but since kids videos are not usually fabulous, it does the job and keeps my kids away from my own camera. Would only recommend it for kids 6 and under tho. My only real complaint on this camera is it uses AA batteries that require a screwdriver to change. So, the kids often stop using it when the batteries die and then forget about it.

Nice camera for kids!
2009-01-18Nice little camera for the money. My daughter got this for Christmas and she loved it and was using it to film family on Christmas day opening gifts, etc. It is pretty easy to use and has a lot of features for the money. I do have to agree with other reviewers that it is not very easy to open the door to replace the batteries. The screws are very small, and unlike some other kids cameras, they screws will fall out of the door when they are removed. Make sure to change the batteries somewhere where you can keep track of the screws. I wish that Poloroid had been able to put some kind of battery door on this camera like the Fisher Price cameras have, where you can use a penny (not a screwdriver) to open the door and the screws do not come out of the case. Not a big complaint just enough to not warrant the 5 stars. I would purchase it again, for the money, it was a good deal.

It okay
2009-01-14This product is good for the price. I just wish the pictures came out a little better. But you do get what you pay for.

Audio & Video Connections Guide
" For a list of all the ways technology has failed to improve the quality of life, please press three." - Alice Kahn
This quote is certainly applicable to consumer electronics. From the very first commercially produced radios to the latest in high-definition television technology, the manner in which the components used to deliver our news, music, movies and entertainment are interconnected seems to have escaped logic. For both the newcomer and the old hand alike, connecting equipment in the most efficient and effective manner can be a painful chore. It is hoped this article will improve your background knowledge concerning potential A/V system connection schemes and where each is most appropriate. The next time you find yourself in a "connectivity quandary" perhaps the ideas shared here will help you to quickly solve the riddle of which wire goes where and why!

Printer Buying Guide
What kind of printer is best for me?
Choosing the right printer can be a daunting task. There are several different types of printing technology to choose from, each suited for different needs. Printers come in all shapes and sizes, from tiny travel companions to workgroup workhorses; some are geared toward photographers, others are for multitaskers. And the many specifications for resolution and speed can be misleading. As a rule of thumb, inkjet printers are a must for long-lasting photos, while laser printers are best to produce speedy text documents.
