Must Have Accessory2009-03-20
Once you get the Gorillapod you will find many uses for it. Go ahead and order these replacement clips to have on hand, I am very glad I did.
Must have extras2009-03-13
The Gorillapod is an indespensible item, until you lose the clip. These are a must have in my camera bag.
Good Idea for multiple point-and-shooters2009-01-30
I agree with "Vines' " review wholeheartedly. The clip is handy and a nice feature for the small gorillapod (although the release mechanism on the tripod itself is a bit chincy). I don't see too much reason, though, to buy this product unless you have multiple compact point-and-shoot cameras.

I use mine on a Samsung nv15 and haven't used it on any other camera body. So ultimately, I have had mine for over a year now, and haven't used either of the extra clips yet. The only reasons I can think to take off the clip are: if your camera case is extremely tight-fitting, or you are putting your camera in your pant pocket often (the clip is very small and pretty unobtrusive, and may get only slightly annoying in a tight form-fitting pant pocket).

So consider getting these if you may lose the original that comes with the gorillapod, if you have a second camera, or you just want your buddies to have quick access to your gorillapod.
Extra replacement connectors2008-11-29
They are what they say they are - extra connectors for your gorillapod. Do yourself a favor. If you've recently lost your connector like I had. Quit looking for it, and go ahead and order these. I promise you that you will find your lost connector 1 to 3 days after these come in the mail. It's a small price to pay to reduce the stress of searching.
A must with GP1 Gorillapod2008-10-17
Look, you're going to lose the one that comes with the GP1 - so get these (2 in a pack). They're cheap, you can leave them on most digital cameras without them getting in the way, and having one on each camera makes hooking up with the GP1 quick and easy. If you have a gorillapod, a pack of these is a must have. Be sure you have a GP1 though - or they won't fit.

Digital camera batteries
Batteries are vital for all photography and makiing sure that you have a spare set is essential if you intend to take alot of pictures. Print digital also recommend that when deciding upon a digital camera keep in mind what sort of batteries it takes. Does it take rechargeable batteries, are the batteries built and do you have to plug it into the mains, or does the camera only take standard batteries, if so then it can become exspensive if you are a keen photographer and use the camera alot. There are three types of rechargeable batteries: NiCD, NiMH and Lithium-Ion. Nickel Metal Hydride are the most popular rechargeable batteries at present. They hold more charge than their counter parts NiCD and don't suffer from memory effect. The one small down fall of these batteries is that they will loose a small amount of charge even if they are not being used, so be sure to check the batteries before using them. When you purchase a new digital camera make sure to ask what type of battery ...
