Used it for PS3 to AV system
2008-09-03Used it on my old Harmon Kardon AV and the PS3 unit... Worked great... But I opted to get a new AV unit and I used the HDMI cables now.... Keeping the cable handy in case I need it once again...

great performance at a great price!
2008-08-19i rely heavily on amazon reviews so i thought i should let it be known that this is a great item despite the low price!

Excellent Cable
2008-08-16This is great toslink cable. The price was right and I highly recommend this cable to all. I would suggest bookmarking or adding the cable to your wish list and then watching the price. I was able to pick up the 12 ft cable for under $5 including shipping when the cable went on sale at BarginCell.com.
This was my first toslink cable purchase and the sound difference between RCA cables and toslink is awesome. The investment is well worth the payoff in sound reproduction on movies.
I highly recommend this cable to anyone looking for a low cost option for improving the sound in this theater or music system.

Great Cable
2008-05-18You can easily spend 6-8 times as much for a 12' TOSLINK cable, but there is no good reason to do so. This cable works well and the signal is digital, so there is no improved performance to be had from the name brand cables.

Don't be fooled by the price!
2008-05-08Looks like a TOSlink cable. Works like a TOSlink cable. Even at this price, it's safe to say it's a TOSlink cable. Spend more if you want, but why? 'Nuff said.

Core 2 Duo Scaling
Laptop Scaling
Intel's Core 2 Duo is easily the best mobile processor on the market today, boasting sky-high performance and low power consumption. But which CPU is for you: the super expensive T7600, the bargain-priced T5500, or something in between?
This article will first take a look at the various versions of Core 2 Duo that Intel has to offer. We will compare Core 2 Duo clocked at four speed grades: 2.33GHz, 2.16GHz, 2GHz, and 1.83GHz in a variety of benchmarks and let you know how to get your best bang for the buck.
Note: We will refer to a Core 2 Duo “T7000multiple times in this article. We were unable to get a Merom sample with 2MB L2 cache, thus we lowered the clock speed of our 4MB L2 model to 1.83GHz to perform near that of the T5600 (1.83GHz, 2MB L2 cache), resulting in our unofficial “T7000nomenclature.
