Canon ink
2009-06-25I know a lot of people complain about Canon ink cartridges having the chip in them and the drivers disabling some features if you use reloaded cartridges. I agree, that sucks. However, in my limited experience, the reloaded ink clogs the jets and doesn't print as clean as the canon ink. Just my opinion based on my experience but I plan on using canon ink in my canon printer even though it costs more

Canon CLI-8 3 Pack
2009-06-23I've been using these ink tanks for almost 2 years and have had no problems.Obviously, like anything else, one would wish they would last longer and would be cheaper. It seems that since I bought my Canon Pixma MP 830, I've bought almost as much ink tanks as the printer costs. Needless to say, I print a lot. Personal advice:don't buy remanufactured ink tanks, they're just not worth it.

Great product.
2009-06-16I had no problem with these tanks. They are just like I bought them from a big retail store. Highly recommended.

RIP OFF! Shipping Cost Ridiculous!
2009-06-06Do NOT buy from this merchant - the shipping cost was nearly $20 and it was sent via regular mail. What a rip off! Not only that, but it came absolutely crushed in a simple bubble-pack envelope.

Excellent ink but pricey.
2009-06-02Canon makes excellent printers but their inks seem over priced. I have found that when the low ink warning comes on the tank is still about half full and a considerable number of pages can still be printed. My advice is to continue using the "low" tank until the printer quits printing and informs you to replace the tank otherwise you are probably doubling the cost of ink.

Printer Buying Guide
What kind of printer is best for me?
Choosing the right printer can be a daunting task. There are several different types of printing technology to choose from, each suited for different needs. Printers come in all shapes and sizes, from tiny travel companions to workgroup workhorses; some are geared toward photographers, others are for multitaskers. And the many specifications for resolution and speed can be misleading. As a rule of thumb, inkjet printers are a must for long-lasting photos, while laser printers are best to produce speedy text documents.
