Surprisingly durable2010-03-09
At first I didn't think it was long enough to cover the recorder with the mic attached. But it does. I like it ...a lot. I keep it in my purse or console without any experiences of the magnetic clip failing.

This what was suggested by amazon when i bought my "Olympus Digital Voice Recorder (VN 6200PC)" it barely fits this model and it wasn't as good as the holder that came with it. I would suggest not buying this one and just keeping the cover that comes with it, perhaps just hole punch and tie something in it so it holds onto your belt if you really need that but its not very strong nor is it very useful for this model.

While this accessory is fine, Olympus already includes a case with their recorder. This was not obvious when I placed the order for the recorder so I assumed I would need a case. The case is not necessary, the standard case works just as well.
Significant feature2009-09-24
I don't normally review these kind of items, but, this little gem has a feature I really, really like -- the Velcro belt loop. The bottom end of the loop is Velcro-ed. There are so many belt pouches, and I have every one of them, that one has to remove or at least unfasten the belt clasp to attach the pouch. I would give the pouch a 5-star rating for this alone, but, the designer that put the hole for the mike or earphones in the center when the recorder has them off-center must have been designing for a different recorder. Therefore, only a four-star rating.
Have not yet received2009-06-05
I have not yet received this product. It appears that Amazon had an old address and the product was shipped to that address. The residence of the home where this and my recorder were sent to, only received the recorder. they did not receive the case. I called the post office and they have no record of returning the product. Any suggestions?
