Not only a good battery but a good grip.
2009-06-29My D700 has good battery power anyway but this gives good peace of mind.
The best thing about it as it creates a great grip when you have mounted a heavy lens on your camera body.
Great for shooting portrait as it allows you to use another shutter release button that is better designed for a turning your camera up in a position for a portrait.
Pretty good for the most part
2009-06-22The MB-D10 battery pack really completes my D700, giving it a really good balance in my hand and increasing the stability of the camera. The only thing I have found that is negative - the rubbery texture grip on the bottom of the battery pack started to peel off when I removed the camera from my tripod (Bogen Midi ball head, no quick release) after attaching it for the first time. Other than that, I am very pleased.
Nikon Multi Power Battery Pack
2009-06-14Merchant refused to accept ruturn of product even though unused or opened from original packaging. Poor customer service and handling of issue. Do not recommend purchase from this individual.
D700 Grip
2009-05-28This is the second one of these I have gotten as the first one was defective. This one has been great. It works as advertised and really helps with the balance of the camera with big glass installed.
I like the ability to use AA batteries for times when you may have issues with the Nikon batteries.
I would also like to note that the return to Amazon was outstanding. I did everything online and they even sent UPS to my house to pick up the defective product. You can have problems with anything, but finding a company that gives good service after the sale is a real plus.
Must have even though it cost to much
2009-05-13This is a great addition to your D300 and a must if you do a lot of photography. The controls are easy to use though I think the toggle should be the same as on the camera which doesn't stick out so much. Only once did I have it draw from the camera first not the MD-D10 as I have it set it up. I attributed that to it be -23 out since the entire camera was operating slow do to the cold. I was worried about it loosening up but it has always stayed tight to the camera body.
Great product even if it is about $100 more than what it should cost.
