Easy setup tripod
2009-06-29This is a very simple tripod for your small camcorder or camera. I use it with my mino HD series camcorder and it works great especially for off-level surfaces.
This will not be your only tripod because it is so small but it definetly has its uses.

Great tripod!
2009-06-23This is a great tripod that works well with the Flip Camera. I think it is good for people who want to not always have to hold their camera. Just like a digital picture camera, sometimes you want to put it down and be in the picture!

Pain in the butt to set the camera angle right on this tripod
2009-06-14Though it is quick to attach and detach from the camera, it takes a long time to set your camera at the angle you want it using this tripod. Almost all tripods allow you to attach the camera, set up the legs, and then quickly and precisely point the camera and lock a mechanism at the top of the tripod in place. Not this tripod. To set the angle of the camera on this, you have to pick it up, re-bend the legs a little, put it down again, watch the legs bend slightly under the weight of the camera (even a very light camera like the Flip), pick it up, bend the legs a little more or less, over and over again.

Teensy!
2009-06-08This tripod is teensy and only good for tabletop use. The Flip has a standard threaded screw hole on the bottom, just spend your $ on a regular tripod.

Adequate, but not that good
2009-06-05This isn't really very versatile, kind of hard to bend the legs to get things even or adjust camera angle. I recommend the Joby Gorillapod which works much better, albeit at a slightly higher cost.
