I love this camera!2009-04-20
I'm not very technical and I don't generally take great pictures -- but it is impossible to take a bad picture with this camera! Everyone looks great in their pictures! The touch screen and the pink color are great bonuses. It appears to be pretty durable too, I've dropped it a couple times and I even spilled liquid on it once... but it still works great!
Got what I asked for2009-01-14
My girlfriend asked for a compact camera that took pictures quickly. Fast lag time is not a compact camera's strong point but I did research and this is the the second fastest camera out there. I found a good deal and ordered. The only camera available was in this bright, hot pink that my girlfriend really dislikes but its a great camera and the vendor gave me excatly what I asked for in time for christmas. Pleasure doing business with you.
best I've had2009-01-12
Sony keeps improving its cameras over and over, Its simple to use and has a lot of options for those who understand a bit more about photography. works great at a VERY close range and in low light conditions.
It has a touch screen so I recommend you buy some sort of protective film (I bought one of those made for the PSP and cut it) and put it on as soon as you take it out of the box.
A good buy2009-01-12
The camera really turned out to be a good one for me. It was the previous reviews regarding its enough internal memory that influenced me to buy the camera. The pictures really come out well and the videos are also shot nicely. The small size of the camera with a touchscreen mode really makes it more user-friendly.
Fantastic Camera2008-11-30
I was a bit wary about buying this camera because of the conflicting reviews that I read. But I decided to take a plunge because it looked really good and the pink color was just amazing.

Anyway, this camera did not disappoint me. I loved the big screen, the big internal memory, and how user friendly it is. I never had to refer to the manual to know how to basically operate the camera. THe picture quality was also okay, just the way I expected it from a point and shoot camera.

I loved the extra fun stuff in the camera: the in-cam retouch and painting, the cute borders, and how one can remove red eyes in the camera itself.

Overall, as a beginner, I would say that this camera is excellent. I highly recommend it to beginners like myself.

Professional video camera
A Professional video camera (often called a Television camera even though the use has spread) is a high-end device for recording electronic moving images (as opposed to a movie camera, that records the images on film). Originally developed for use in television studios, they are now commonly used for corporate and educational videos, music videos, direct-to-video movies, etc. There are two types of professional video cameras: High end portable, recording cameras (essentially, high-end camcorders) used for ENG and EFP image acquisition, and studio cameras which lack the recording capability of a camcorder, and are often fixed on studio pedestals. Portable professional cameras are generally much larger than consumer cameras and are designed to be carried on the shoulder. Technology It is common for professional cameras to split the incoming light into the three primary colors that humans are able to see, feeding each color into a separate pickup tube (in older cameras) or charge ...
Driving with a cell phone is a lot less dangerous than driving on prescription drugs
There's a lot of debate today about the safety of using cell phones while driving. Statistics show that those who use cell phones while driving cause a much greater percentage of accidents than those who avoid using their cell phones. And the studies have shown that it's not just the physical coordination required to punch numbers into the cell phone while you're trying to work the vehicle that causes accidents; it's actually the lack of attention resulting from driving and talking on the cell phone at the same time. It seems that when you're distracted, you're more likely to cause accidents. In terms of public safety, it's probably correct to say that banning cell phones would reduce the number of traffic accidents. But I think, more accurately, it depends on the person. Some people are operating on, shall we say, lower power CPUs in their heads to begin with. They might be zoned out on prescription drugs, and when you add a cell phone to the equation, they do become a danger to the ...
