The Sea & Sea YS-27DX Strobe was designed specifically for digital cameras. It synchronizes with the included fiber optic cord for a flood free connection. Lightweight and compact this is the prefect strobe for the Sea & Sea 8000DX and other small camera systems. The fiber optic sync cord can be customized for a variety of digital camera housings from Canon, Sony, Olympus, Ikelite, and Sea Life. The fiber optic cable transmits light from the cameras built in flash to the slave sensor on the strobe. This full featured strobe offers exposure control with a 9 step manual control. All you need to do is set your aperture to match the number on the control. If your images are a little too light or dark just dial the power up or down. The Sea & Sea arm with built in tray is also included. The sea arm is constructed of fiber glass with fortified nylon. This makes it rigid to keep the strobe in the right position. It is also very light and compact. The arm has a rubber grip that provides a comfortable handhold. The arm is made up of two 5.1" sections.
