Great investment for the a2002009-03-12
There is no protection for the LCD screen on the a200 out of the box and this is vulnerable component of the camera. I like it because it is permanent, not a disposable film cover and it is solid plastic so it will hold up pretty well. A great, inexpensive cover to protect your investment.
Handy little thing2009-03-11
Thought maybe it would be cheap and not worth the small amount I paid. I was pleasantly surprised into finding it well made and really works well. No problem seeing LCD on my Sony a200. Thanks Amazon...great buy.
Buy it with the camera....2009-02-23
Within a week of buying my Sony A200 DSLR camera.... I had a small scratch on the LCD. Then I bought the Sony PCK-LH2AM. It came in the mail, I opened it up, read the instructions, simply attached it on and there it stays. If it gets scratched or damaged I'll buy another one. Well worth the money.

I too wish Sony would include it with the camera, how about a recommended suggestion even. Not that the LCD is fragile or anything, it's going to get banged around with use. They don't make body armor for the A200 yet but if they do I will probably get that too.
Expensive plastic but...a must2009-02-16
These seem expensive for a piece of molded plastic but are a must to protect your camera's LCD. Definitely helps it hold the resale value. They pop on and off so you don't need put anything sticky on your LCD which is good.
Great LCD Protector2009-01-30
I bought this LCD protector to my camera Sony Alpha 200, it's fits great. It helps to protect againts scratches.

Digital cameras are good for the environment
As we consider the digital camera revolution that has taken place over the last decade, most people think about it in terms of enhanced benefits for consumers. We can take a lot more pictures at much lower cost with digital cameras versus film cameras. We can also more easily manipulate and share those photos since they're all in the digital realm. But one thing many people don't think about actually deserves mention as potentially the most profound effect of the digital camera revolution: how digital cameras greatly reduce the destructive impact on the environment compared to film cameras. At first, you might think, "How can that be? My film camera didn't harm the environment!" Even though it wasn't your camera that harmed the environment, your film processing did indeed harm it. Any time you take your pictures to a photo processing center, that film is run through batches of chemicals. These chemicals are environmental hazards, and once they are used to process film, those chem ...
