Always have a backup2009-07-02
I purchased this as a second battery for my Sony camera. I try to stay with name brand and therefore didn't go for the cheaper knock-offs. I really like this battery because of the minute remaining indicator. I find myself using it as the primary and the original supplied by Sony as the backup. Quick shipping and perfect performance.

The battery works extremely well... doesn't "fizz" out like some other batteries. My wife takes a lot of pictures, I mean a lot of pictures. It is not uncommon for her to change out batteries at least once when she's in the picture mode... So far, this one has been able to keep up with her and last much longer in her shooting frenzy... than the others.

Sony NP-FG1 InfoLITHIUM Type G Rechargeable Li-Ion Battery Pack for Sony W & H Series Digital Cameras

Received this battery just as promised and with no surprises...It is a better battery than the original which came with my camera....also appreciate the battery's "remaining charge" read-out as measured in minutes. Original battery does not provide this feature. Competitive price, as batteries go! Happy camper!
Sony Digital Camera Battery2009-06-26
All of the local "Big Box" retailers had this battery for $50.00. Amazon had the same thing for $33.00 ...................I always "compare" pricing of the Frys/Targets/WalMarts/Best Buys with Amazon.
worth the extra2009-06-16
the battery that comes with the sony cybershot H20 is good, but it is nice to have a little extra time to where you're not recharging the battery so often. i haven't really had time to see all of the benefits of the battery, but from what other reviews say, it's nice to have that second battery.

This type of video camcorder is fast becoming outdated, because you can only play back the video on a VHS VCR system. VHS camcorders are not nearly as clear as digital video camcorders that offer clear video with 540 lines of resolution, VHS video cameras only offer 240 lines of resolution. They also weigh more and are much more bulky, that dv camcorders. You can only find these video camera used because their technology is now outdated. VHS-C The VHS-C format offer 240 lines of resolution, just like VHS. These analog camcorders come in a smaller size that the VHS camcorder models, but use the same technology. The video tapes u ...
Digital cameras are good for the environment
As we consider the digital camera revolution that has taken place over the last decade, most people think about it in terms of enhanced benefits for consumers. We can take a lot more pictures at much lower cost with digital cameras versus film cameras. We can also more easily manipulate and share those photos since they're all in the digital realm. But one thing many people don't think about actually deserves mention as potentially the most profound effect of the digital camera revolution: how digital cameras greatly reduce the destructive impact on the environment compared to film cameras. At first, you might think, "How can that be? My film camera didn't harm the environment!" Even though it wasn't your camera that harmed the environment, your film processing did indeed harm it. Any time you take your pictures to a photo processing center, that film is run through batches of chemicals. These chemicals are environmental hazards, and once they are used to process film, those chem ...
