Needed an external drive for backup purposes.
Searched, read reviews, selected this one.
I ordered, it came in a timely fashion and in good condition.
Worked as advertised.
Plug and Play.
No techie skills required.
I did need to make some changes to be able to backup entire system, but instructions were available and easily followed.
Not so sure I bought this item2008-11-20
I bought one of these babies a month and a half ago and am not all that pleased. I have several machines that I routinely move information from/to and back up. I needed a reliable and portable solution. I've had several problems with some of my machines ingesting this drive and so am concerned about long-term reliability. If you're considering a disk like this, review all alternatives first!

Why You Should Use A Mini DV Camcorder
Introduction The mini DV camcorder has many advantages to offer its users. If you enjoy your digital video camera you will also enjoy this. The mini DV camcorder is easier to take with you than the regular sized cameras such as the hi definition camcorder, or the hi-Res camcorder. The size of this camcorder is one of its big advantages. Today, a radio can be as small as a wristwatch. Camcorders have also evolved in tec ...
Camera basics: shutter-speed, aperture and ISO
In this article, I’ll introduce you to the basic elements that you can use to control exposure in your shooting. If you have a digital SLR, there will be a way to set all of these controls on your camera, but since they differ between manufacturers and models, you’ll need to refer to your camera’s manual to find out exactly how to change them. All cameras, whether an ancient film camera, or a more modern digital, work in pretty much the same way. Photographs are taken by letting light fall onto a light-sensitive medium, which records the image. Traditionally, this has been film, but more recently, it tends to be a digital sensor. The more light that falls onto the film or sensor, the lighter the image. Put simply, a camera consists of a light-tight box that stores a light-sensitive device (either a film or a digital sensor), a lens that magnifies and focuses the image onto that light-sensitive device through a hole in the box (called the aperture) , and a shutter that opens ...
