great product
2008-11-20I was skeptical when buying a digital recorder. You read a lot of varied reviews and I wasn't 100% sure if this would do what I wanted. Out of the box, this item was so easy to understand. If you are somewhat computer literate you will get it. The only thing I needed to read instructions for was how to turn the beeping off. I think its great out of the box and it looks a lot nicer than is shown on Amazon. Secondly, I was thrilled about PC connectivity. I hooked it up and it played MP3 right through my Itunes. I was very, very happy about this. People who said it slowed down their computers obviously have an old computer. This didn't slow me down at all. I have no complaints about this item. It does exactly what I wanted. It records well when stuffed under a shirt or inside a jacket. I've done a few tests and am 100% satisfied with it.

Amazon's WORST service ever
2008-10-22This is my story:
I needed this product over two weeks ago and so, I ordered this product from Amazon. Amazon shipped this thing to me over a week after but they shipped the wrong one to me. Instead of RCA RP5130, they gave me RCA RP5130. So, okay, I was cool about it and I told them about this. They said they were sorry and will ship to me the correct one immediately, BUT then they did it again!!! They shipped me another RCA RP5120!!! Arggggg!!!!!
I called them up to find out if they could just make me an offer to let me keep the RP5120 and refund half only half the price I brought. They refused, threaten to charge me the price of RP5130 if I keep it. More to that, they wanted me to waste more of my time running to the post office to send them back the item otherwise, they wont give the any refund. Is this how they treat their loyal customer!?

Already falling apart after two weeks
2008-10-02This recorder have been in my possession now for two weeks. As the name says, it records and it does it well. However, it is already falling apart and I have only use it for six days and not even heavily. The button for the + volume have already drop and is nowhere to be found.

Not bad
2008-09-16Pros
-Good battery life.
-Fits in my cell phone holster.
-Easy to get files on and off of it.
Cons
-When you turn it off it loses that your settings like the speed you were playing at. So I ride to work and use it to listen to notes or podcasts at fast speed. I turned it off and don't use it again till the next day that I do the same thing and I have to re-set it to fast speed again.
-When you turn it off and come back it looks like you are on the track you left off on, but when you press play it returns to the first one in the folder.

Very good for the price
2008-09-14Excellent recorder for dictation. Pretty good recording streamed music (mono), if recording through a mic jack cable, rather than the built-in mic. It records in .voc format rather than MP3, as advertised. If there is a way to get it to record in MP3 format, I haven't been able to find it in the fairly skimpy documentation. However, it's a very good value overall.

Professional video camera
A Professional video camera (often called a Television camera even though the use has spread) is a high-end device for recording electronic moving images (as opposed to a movie camera, that records the images on film). Originally developed for use in television studios, they are now commonly used for corporate and educational videos, music videos, direct-to-video movies, etc.
There are two types of professional video cameras: High end portable, recording cameras (essentially, high-end camcorders) used for ENG and EFP image acquisition, and studio cameras which lack the recording capability of a camcorder, and are often fixed on studio pedestals. Portable professional cameras are generally much larger than consumer cameras and are designed to be carried on the shoulder.
Technology
It is common for professional cameras to split the incoming light into the three primary colors that humans are able to see, feeding each color into a separate pickup tube (in older cameras) or charge ...
Finding the Right Digital Camera

Finding the Right Digital Camera
The overall goal of the Imaging Resource website (www.imaging-resource.com) is to help people chose and use digital imaging technology as effectively as possible. As simple as they are to use, choosing the right digital camera involves a number of decisions. Key issues are computing platform, image quality, onboard image capacity, exposure versatility, feature set, and included software. In this article, we'll lead you step-by-step through some of the issues to consider in making a purchase decision, and at the same time, suggest some things to look for in the test images we've collected on our website.
