Expensive but worth the cost.
2008-10-28Probably the longest lasting battery pack I've used in any camera. Used in a Cannon EOS XSi, which puts a lot of demands on the battery. Bought a second as a back up for a european vacation and never had a reason to change, even after a week and a half in Italy. Lots of pictures and reviews of existing shots, the battery level indicator never moved from it's fully charged state. The only negative would be the price.

Great Value
2008-10-18I tried going to the Canon website and they wanted $70 for this battery. This was an amazing find. Its the same battery and came in very handy during my vacation.

Must-have especially for USM lenses
2008-10-03An extra-battery is a must-have for "serious amateurs". I have a Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM Lens for Canon EOS SLR Cameras and it really sucks up the battery. If it wasn't for this backup, I would have been photo-paralyzed a couple of times.
The battery also comes with a plastic protector for the contacts, as the one provided with the camera.

Always good to have a spare
2008-07-17I am happy that I bought a spare battery for my Cannon. One is always charged and waiting so I never miss out on those great moments!!!

Works Great With my XTi
2008-06-20Well, it works just like the one that my XTi originally came with. It's nice to carry a spare around with you just in case.

A Quick Look At the Professional Digital Camcorder
Introduction
Professional digital camcorders are better than your analog camcorder, or even your digital video camera. The advancements that have been made in the camcorder industry are amazing. Just like everything else they keep getting more and more advanced, and shrinking in size. Even though we have seen much advancement, the price keeps getting more and more affordable. Professionals are not the only ones who can now enjoy the wonderful benefits of a professional
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A professional digital camcorder allows creativity and quality to meet, and the cost is far lower than it was only a few years ago. Even in the late 1990's most professionals were using Betamax professional quality analog recorders, though the professional digital camcorder was starting to come into its own back then.

Driving with a cell phone is a lot less dangerous than driving on prescription drugs
There's a lot of debate today about the safety of using cell phones while driving. Statistics show that those who use cell phones while driving cause a much greater percentage of accidents than those who avoid using their cell phones. And the studies have shown that it's not just the physical coordination required to punch numbers into the cell phone while you're trying to work the vehicle that causes accidents; it's actually the lack of attention resulting from driving and talking on the cell phone at the same time. It seems that when you're distracted, you're more likely to cause accidents.
In terms of public safety, it's probably correct to say that banning cell phones would reduce the number of traffic accidents. But I think, more accurately, it depends on the person. Some people are operating on, shall we say, lower power CPUs in their heads to begin with. They might be zoned out on prescription drugs, and when you add a cell phone to the equation, they do become a danger to the ...
