Product Description:
One of the most important accessories for each lens you own. A lens hood provides multiple functions: it shades the lens from stray light, improving your contrast and image quality; in inclement weather, it can assist in keeping moisture or wind-blown debris off the lens; and it protects the front barrel from the inevitable impacts against walls, door frames, and other real-life obstacles. Almost all EF and TS-E lenses have a Canon lens hood engineered specifically for it

Great product.
2009-06-14As with any filters and hoods they do their job. I enjoy using these products to enhance my photos.

Great Hood
2008-12-23The hood is great and works as it should. It's a little big when trying to store it away in your camera bag, but I love the way you can reverse it on your lense and place it away. If you thanking of buying one I say get it. It works well and it's professional looking.

price is not right
2008-11-21The hood has good quality but too expensive. The filters seem cheap but the UV filter does not do what it suppose to do.

ziegler
2008-09-14Lens hood is great. I haven't had a chance to use all of the filters. They seem to be of average quality. The cleaning pen and lens cap leash are cheap and look like they came from a gum ball machine. The pen leaks and the leash is broken as well. But overall I am happy with the purchase considering the price paid.

Adequate Hood, Filters
2008-09-13The set of products arrived a bit late due to transport not the seller. The EW-78BII hood is exactly as described. It's a great addition to shoot in bright conditions and can be inverted on the EF 28-135mm for storage purposes. The haze filters are cheap if bought in a set like this rather than individually and the fact that it comes in a case and with a cleaning cloth, is a good addition to any photographer's bag. The cleaner and lens strap are cheaply made, in terms of quality, and I haven't found much use for them. In terms of the hood, I keep it on my 28-135mm at all times, as this is my walk-around lens. It looks great on the camera and is very functional. In terms of the filters, they are good quality, functional, and price is very good considering that at local retailers, you may pay for the same amount but for only 1 filter. Overall, I am happy with the purchase. Four stars due to quality of the cleaning tool and the strap. Otherwise, five stars for the other products.

its pros and cons
VHS
The VHS format is the oldest type of camcorder. This type of video camcorder
is fast becoming outdated, because you can only play back
the video on a VHS VCR system. VHS
camcorders are not nearly as clear as digital
video camcorders that offer clear video with 540 lines of resolution,
VHS video cameras only offer 240 lines of resolution. They also weigh more
and are much more bulky, that dv camcorders. You can only find these video
camera used because their technology is now outdated.
VHS-C
The VHS-C format offer 240 lines of resolution, just like VHS. These analog
camcorders come in a smaller size that the VHS camcorder models, but use
the same technology. The video tapes u ...
Digital camera batteries
Batteries are vital for all photography and makiing sure that you have a spare set is essential if you intend to take alot of pictures. Print digital also recommend that when deciding upon a digital camera keep in mind what sort of batteries it takes. Does it take rechargeable batteries, are the batteries built and do you have to plug it into the mains, or does the camera only take standard batteries, if so then it can become exspensive if you are a keen photographer and use the camera alot.
There are three types of rechargeable batteries: NiCD, NiMH and Lithium-Ion. Nickel Metal Hydride are the most popular rechargeable batteries at present. They hold more charge than their counter parts NiCD and don't suffer from memory effect. The one small down fall of these batteries is that they will loose a small amount of charge even if they are not being used, so be sure to check the batteries before using them.
When you purchase a new digital camera make sure to ask what type of battery ...
