Cheap Seat....2008-12-02
This seat was not exactly what I thought it was going to be. Very cheaply made..... As soon as I opened the box I said, "This is going back". So, we sent it back and opted for a more expensive seat from Graco.
Great car seat2008-09-15
I initially bought this car seat for my husband's vehicle. I did my research and this one is the best. I loved it so much, I gave my carseat to a friend and bought a second one for my vehicle. Cleans easy, very secure, just a good car seat.
Not the best2008-09-07
I bought this because of its potential for long-term use--5-point harness now and booster in another year or two, but after using this seat for about a week, we relegated it to Grandma and Grandpa's car. It's a fine, safe seat, but not comfortable and too low for our average size two-and-a-half year old. He could not see out the window while riding in this seat--very frustrating for an observant toddler. Also, the adjustable straps were not very easy to use--I've been spoiled by the ease of the Evenflo Triumph in this feature. Our eight-month-old is using it now and I won't be quick to give it up!
good!2008-09-03
I think this is a great seat, especially for the price. It is narrow so you don't have to use up all the space in the back with your seat (or if you have more than one child). The only draw back is that if your child is small they do not sit up high enough to look out the window. (Of course this is a plus to the driver since the seat back does not extend so high up as to block the driver's view). I have used many car seats and this is my favorite. Can't say how it does in an accident though, luckily I haven't had one yet!
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS CAR SEAT!2008-08-31
I got this form my daughter when she was two and she is now six and she can still fit in it! Cleans nicely and not to many frills just exactly what you need. And she loves the cup holder its just great!!!

Playing With Your Child
While children do need time to play alone and with other children without adult intervention, research shows that playtime with parents is also important. Children crave time with parents.  It makes them feel special.  Parents are encouraged to find time to spend playing with their kids on a regular basis.  This should include one to one with each child and group time with all of the adults and kids in the home.  If you are a single parent or have an only child, occasionally invite family or friends over to play. In pretend play, let the child develop the theme.  Get into their world.  Let them go with it.  Ask questions.  Play along.  Be silly along with them and have fun.  Avoid over-stimulation.  Know when it is time to stop. Also, when appropriate, parents can use stuffed animals or puppets to act out real-life situations that can teach problem solving or social skills.  Let the puppet demonstrate the wrong way to handle a situation.  Then, along with input fr ...
You and Your Newborn Baby: a guide to the first months after birth
Regardless of whether labor is long or short, whether it is hard or easy whether a baby is born vaginally or by cesarean, most parents recall the first hours and days after birth as crystal-clear images surrounded by haze. It is in this haze that you first take in your baby and make a giant leap from pregnancy to parenting. Despite all the anticipatory parenting done before conception and during pregnancy, despite weeks of feeling movement within and fantasizing about your baby, despite months of having strange dreams, worrisome thoughts, and musings about what kind of parent you will be, the first time you hold your baby in your arms and call yourself mother or father, mama or papa, mommy or daddy, an awareness floods over you that life will never be the same again. Another human being is now dependent upon you for survival. More than anything else, you want to be the best parent possible. Your awareness of your baby's dependency and your desire to be a good parent will together ...
