2010-03-07This was a great deal for a great product. It works even better and quicker than expected. Thanks and keep up the good work!

Same as the charger that came with Rebel XSi
2010-01-20If you're looking at this you've either looking for a spare charger or have misplaced yours. My friend borrowed my camera charger at a wedding and it was naturally misplaced. I was looking at this as someone who was replacing a lost charger.
This charger is no better or worse than the one that came with the camera. It's identical, you really are replacing the charger that came with the camera. I had some doubts if it was the type with the pullout wall plugs or if it used an adapter cable (I had seen pictures of a different version that seemed to use a cable instead of the pull out plugs?) but it has the pull out wall plugs built into the charger.
Amazon was one of the few places I found that had the canon made charger at all and their price was relatively competitive to other retailers. The price seems to fluctuate between high $30s and high $40s for this charger.
You can get a much cheaper third party charger as opposed to this OEM unit, but for me after factoring in shipping for the third party unit, the OEM Canon made one was only 10 dollars more.

Great the second time around.
2009-11-02The first charger sent to me did not work. There was no problem or cost in returning the charger. The second one is working great.

Retail outlest either don't stock or overprice these items
2009-09-18I lost my extra battery and original charger and went looking for the Cannon replacements at Best Buy, Wal Mart and other retail outlets. If I was fortunate to find the battery, it was at a minimum - SEVENTY-THREE DOLLARS and the "Digipower" comparable was only eight dollars cheaper! The battery charger simply didn't exist - only the "comparable" chargers were available and they were from $53.00 to $70.00 retail. Then, I searched Amazon. This bundle of the Cannon battery, charger and an 8 gig card for 112.00 beats the comparables alone, without the memory card. Don't know where Wayne shopped, but if he can beat this price, God bless you!
Oh, by the way, left my charger and battery in The Ocean Beach Club in Virginia Beach - tried calling as soon as I got home - the evening of the day I checked out and got an automated answer only. No response to voice mail, messages, writing or e-mails so someone there has my originals causing the search in the first place. Boycott that resort!!!! This I throw in for free.

perfect
2009-08-22I lost my battery and search all over for one that was the same (brand name, cheaper than normal market, and quality), found this with amazon, could not be more perfect, the battery came grap up in it original box, brand new, also happy with delivery was very fast, would recomend.

Printer Buying Guide
What kind of printer is best for me?
Choosing the right printer can be a daunting task. There are several different types of printing technology to choose from, each suited for different needs. Printers come in all shapes and sizes, from tiny travel companions to workgroup workhorses; some are geared toward photographers, others are for multitaskers. And the many specifications for resolution and speed can be misleading. As a rule of thumb, inkjet printers are a must for long-lasting photos, while laser printers are best to produce speedy text documents.

Home userĀ
The home user demands a lot from a printer. The device must tackle everything from a book report to a newsletter to the occasional snapshot--all without breaking the budget. This is why for most home users, the best choice is a versatile and affordable printer, such as a small-office/home-office color ...
Professional video camera
A Professional video camera (often called a Television camera even though the use has spread) is a high-end device for recording electronic moving images (as opposed to a movie camera, that records the images on film). Originally developed for use in television studios, they are now commonly used for corporate and educational videos, music videos, direct-to-video movies, etc.
There are two types of professional video cameras: High end portable, recording cameras (essentially, high-end camcorders) used for ENG and EFP image acquisition, and studio cameras which lack the recording capability of a camcorder, and are often fixed on studio pedestals. Portable professional cameras are generally much larger than consumer cameras and are designed to be carried on the shoulder.
Technology
It is common for professional cameras to split the incoming light into the three primary colors that humans are able to see, feeding each color into a separate pickup tube (in older cameras) or charge ...
