Very Spiffy and Handy2009-11-22
The only reason I give this 4 instead of 5 stars is because the little rubber eye piece is loose on mine, not glued well. Other than that, this really is a neat little monocular. It won't give you amazing magnification by any means, but it certainly makes a difference. It's built very solid other than the eye piece, and I have it tossed loosely in my backpack without having to worry about it.
ADORABLE!2009-07-31
I know that's probably not the word you first think of, when you think of covert ops. I am assembling an adventure bag to carry all our hiking/orienteering/etc. needs, and since my eyes have been bothering me with binoculars (I'm 45), decided to go for this monocular instead. This thing really is tiny. It's about the size of an apricot! The only thing I wish is that it came with a case, but as a leatherworker I can certainly make my own. The optics are good enough for our family needs. We tested it looking out the back door of our home and were able to discern bugs on the garden rocks (about 45 feet away). Recommended, especially if you're short on pack space.

Finding the Right Digital Camera
By Dave Etchells Finding the Right Digital Camera The overall goal of the Imaging Resource website (www.imaging-resource.com) is to help people chose and use digital imaging technology as effectively as possible. We're interested in your feedback and experience! We invite you to elaborate on this article by leaving comments via the database link at the bottom of the page. You can also give feedback in our "Forum" discussion-group section. Computing Platform This is an obvious consideration but it is fast becoming less of an issue than it o ...
Professional video camera
A Professional video camera (often called a Television camera even though the use has spread) is a high-end device for recording electronic moving images (as opposed to a movie camera, that records the images on film). Originally developed for use in television studios, they are now commonly used for corporate and educational videos, music videos, direct-to-video movies, etc. There are two types of professional video cameras: High end portable, recording cameras (essentially, high-end camcorders) used for ENG and EFP image acquisition, and studio cameras which lack the recording capability of a camcorder, and are often fixed on studio pedestals. Portable professional cameras are generally much larger than consumer cameras and are designed to be carried on the shoulder. Technology It is common for professional cameras to split the incoming light into the three primary colors that humans are able to see, feeding each color into a separate pickup tube (in older cameras) or charge ...
