Very good for underarm wetness issues
2008-10-07I would highly recommend this product. If underarm wetness is an issue, this product is very effective in dealing with it.

Smells Great
2008-08-22I gave this one to my girlfriend, also not realizing it was for women only.
She actually liked it. As mentioned by others, she liked the clean feeling and the moisturizers. It kept her dry too. I, of course, really liked the smell of the stuff. :-}

Could be better
2008-07-25My wife tried this out and wasn't very impressed. It goes on nice and smooth, but the protection could be better. She's tried some other brands like Degree which work much better for odor and are longer lasting.

Better than most
2008-07-24and it smells better and more subtle than most strong smelling underarm sticks. Although, if you truly want to stop under-arm circles your best bet is Certain Dry. It was the only thing that ever stopped my arms from sweating.

Smooth and wonderful
2008-07-18I am not normally a user of clinical deodorant. However, the smell of this is wonderful :) I am a big fan of green tea sented personal care items, and this does not dissapoint. This is a hybrid solid/cream stick that twists up through a 'grate'. This enables you not to get too much or too litte on in one go. Big improvement over solids, which are nice, but I never seem to get enough of. Once it's on, it's there. It hasn't come off on my clothes, inclduing loose, dark t-shirts. Good stuff :) I will be getting this again :)

Cardiovascular Test: Carotid Scan Can Predict Heart Events in Low Risk People
A May 2006 report from the American Heart Association indicates that the carotid scan may be a more important cardiovascular test than originally thought.
Using ultrasound to examine the carotid artery for blockages may be useful in predicting heart attacks and other heart problems in low risk people. Researchers presented their study at the American Heart Association's 7th Scientific Forum on Quality of Care and Outcomes Research in Cardiovascular Disease and Stroke.
These findings are especially important when you consider that a "significant proportion" of heart attack victims do not have other risk factors. This is according to Kwame O. Akosah, M.D., an associate professor of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin in Madison and lead author on the study.
In the study, researchers monitored about 140 low risk individuals who had plaque buildup in the carotid artery. They determined that this group was at least three times more likely than those with normal carotid scans to suf ...
Child Wheelchair Seats and Cushions
Kids have a hard time sitting still. Even when they do sit still they need to be comfortable. If your son is reading Harry Potter or The Hobbit, you definitely don't want to break the spell with a wheelchair seat that doesn't fit.Fortunately, child wheelchairs are designed to accommodate kids' squirminess. The typical seat width is 11 inches or 27.5 cm. You can request some adult wheelchairs in kids' sizes. If your child still wiggles around, invest in comfortable foam seat cushions for when your child is on the move or has to sit for long periods such as doing homework. Cooling cushions and heating pads can be therapeutic too.Tried everything? Your son may just need to be out of the chair. No matter how adaptable the wheelchair, wheelchairs can be hard on the back. A standing seat option or standing frame wheelchair may be the way to go.So now when your kids won't sit still and listen to you, take comfort. It's not their pediatric wheelchairs, they're just being kids.
