I honestly dont think its that bad!
2008-11-21There are alot of really negative reviews out there on this "game".
My 2 kids (age 12 and 9) love this game! Its not the greatest graphics and yes the controls could respond a little better but this is not a game for true "gamers". This game is for working out, and you'll get a decent workout if you follow the instructions. I havent tried it yet, but have watched my kids and they both were sweating and laughing and having a blast! What better way to get people active then play a game like they are not working out when the really are?!

Non-fitness
2008-11-20Very disappointed in this Wii fitness. Could not get it to program with my Wii Fit board and after several attempts was not able to put info in manually without going back to beginning. The software program is difficult to navigate and the exercises were more frustrating than aerobic. I tried several and gave up. I'm not a video player, but have no problem with Wii Fit so I believe Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimatum should go back to the drawing board or wherever they go in cyberspace.

I wish I had listened to my boyfriend and NOT bought this game
2008-11-20In 2007 I went on a quest to lose over 15 pounds and became an avid exerciser in the process. Sadly I got a bit burned out and fell of the wagon. Ever since I've been looking for ways to get myself excited about losing the weight again and to get back to my fit self. Thankfully I discovered the Wii Fit and really been enjoying it. While it's not enough to be my sole workout device it is a fun supplement to what I do at the gym. However part of the initial thrill of Wii Fit was unlocking all of the different levels so once I had unlocked everything I wanted another game. Based on Jillian's reputation I expected this game to be a fun variation and more intense than the original Wii Fit. Sadly, it was neither. I don't want to beat a dead horse but this game is awful. The graphics are very primitive. I blame myself on this point. I should have known from the preview screen. Worst of all the game does not seem to register movement consistently. While I find Wii Fit to be spot on this game often did not register that I was moving even though I was working hard. And when it did was very delayed. Overall this game was so frustrating that I only took it out the day I bought it and have since gone back to the gym and using Wii Fit. This game is a good example of why I will NEVER preorder a game again in the future unless it has gotten good reviews from reputable sources.

Think twice!
2008-11-20Please think twice about purchasing this game. What a disappointment. I am still trying to figure out how this works. I thought maybe it was me. But after reading all the other reviews, it is not me.

Disappointed
2008-11-19I was looking forward to this game because I love Jillian Michaels. I would love to have her as my trainer. The game is disappointing. The graphics are not great and mine got stuck in the middle of a workout and it took forever to get it unstuck. I was hoping for something like the Wii fit workouts and it really let me down. The aerobic workout on the Fit are much more fun.
