Great new deodorant choice!
2008-09-08This product worked well all day and would highly recommend it to anyone. I like that is has a light scent. I would prefer no scent. However, I have yet to find anything that doesn't have some kind of scent, no matter what the label claims.
I think it's great that you click the bottom to get exactly the right amount of product. With regular solid it's hard to tell. I also think the deodorant stays cleaner and perhaps works better that way. It also doesn't leave white marks on clothes.

Strong Enough for a Man... Maybe TOO Strong for This One
2008-08-23Since I was already using another "nighttime application" anti-perspirant: Certain Dri Anti-Perspirant, Roll-On, 1.2 fl oz (35.5 ml), which I set aside for the purposes of this test, I was curious to see how this product would differ. The most obvious difference was that unlike the Certain Dri, which can be used as infrequently as once every three days, Dove clinical protection is a "use every night" product.
The result? While I never felt quite as dry as I did with the Certain Dri, the Dove was pretty darn close. Moreover the Dove felt MUCH gentler to my sadly over-sensitive skin...
unfortunately perhaps not quite gentle enough. Towards the end of a month of usage I noticed some redness in the affected areas (surprisingly pain free) that would go away when I switched to some other anti-perspirant for a few days only to eventually return after I switched back to the Dove. Unexpectedly this proved less of a problem with the noticeably harsher Certain Dri, perhaps because I was always going at least one and often two days between applications.
So ye of sensitive skin have been warned. As for combining this product with shaving, alas, this man cannot help you. Ask a lady reviewer.

Sweet Smell of Success
2008-08-20I tried the Dove Clinical Protection stick once and it did the job, but since I'm loyal to the brand I've been using for twenty years, I decided to hand this over to my wife.
She loves it.
Her summary is that it's the first deodorant she's ever used that didn't go on sticky and then feel clumpy at the end of the day.
Her word was "smooth"... But the important part is that it kept her dry and smelling sweet, even during our hottest days of summer. That's important for her, as she works in a hospital and absolutely can't smell bad around her patients.
So, while I'm going to be loyal to my old brand, my wife will be switching to the Dove Clinical Protection.

Smooth and Dry
2008-07-25I usually use a natural deodorant - but for those special dresses and occasions, it takes something stronger.
The Dove product did not leave me too dry and itchy like the Mitchum product I used to use. Rather, I feel smooth and soft. Best of all, I stayed dry.
Now if antiperspirant only came in unscented. A "fresh" smell comes from being clean and dry - not from added scent.

FYI this is a women's product, works well, but...
2008-07-25I am a guy and sweat more than anyone I know, so I am always on the lookout for powerful antiperspirants.
When I received this, there was copy on the side which indicated it was for women - this is not indicated on the product page at all, I don't think (I figured it was unisex like Dove soap and shampoo).
Anyways, I put this under one arm and my regular anti-perspirant - Arrid XX Spray - under the other arm. After four hours, I was very surprised to find that the armpit of my t-shirt on the Dove side showed no perspiration, while the Arrid armpit did.
I won't be using it anymore as it is for women - which I wouldn't mind except that it smells that way also.
I should also note that a short time after applying this I developed an itchy red bump under the same armpit, although I cannot say whether it was related.
Many years ago I got a similar condition from Arrid XX which disappeared and never returned after stopping use for a few months.
And BTW I was very confused about how to initiate the first use and the package wasnt much help - just keep turning the dial until the stuff comes out the top - you will know it when you see it.

Medicines for Narcolepsy
There is no cure for narcolepsy, but narcolepsy medications can help. Some doctors provide drugs that act as stimulants and are standard treatments for narcolepsy. Unfortunately, some of these medications have undesirable side effects including headache, irritability, nervousness, and gastrointestinal complaints. Nocturnal sleep may be impaired, which in turn can decrease sleep time.
Congenital Heart Defects
Topic Overview
What are congenital heart defects?
Congenital heart defects are problems with how a baby's heart
forms. “Congenital?means that the heart problem develops before the baby is
born or at birth.
Most
congenital heart defects affect
how
blood flows through the heart or through the blood vessels near the
heart. Some defects may cause blood to flow in a pattern that is not normal.
Others can completely or partially block blood flow.
There are many different types of congenital heart defects. They
can be fairly simple, such as a hole between the chambers of the heart or a
heart valve that has not formed right. Others are more serious and complex,
such as a missing heart valve or heart chamber.
Some defects are discovered in an unborn baby (called a fetus)
while a woman is pregnant. Others are not found until birth. Still others may
not be discovered until your child gets older or even until he or she becomes ...
