Very Disappointed
2009-06-27I never thought I'd write a review like this. I had this camera 1 week. The first time I used it I was very happy with the pictures that I took. I went to take pictures a few days later and it wouldn't work. It kept saying "Lens ERROR" and shut down. So I guess I will need to go through getting it returned.

Faulty on purchase
2009-05-31I purchased this camera as it had all that I was looking for. On starting the camera, the flash would not set to any other setting except "off", hence that never worked. Also, if the camera was at max zooom, the photo woudl freeze the camera and I had to take out the battery to reset the camera.
I do own 3 other cameras and am an avid amature photographer.
Returned the camera and bought a Cannon.

The Big Picture
2009-05-09This camera is great and I love the wide angle lens. I would recommend it to friends especially those who travel to places like Africa and India like I do.

Poor lens makes this cheap camera STINK!
2009-03-12I was very happy with the Casio Exilim Z55, which has a Carl Zeiss lens. It was great and took nice pictures. This one has a cheap lens that does not calibrate well with the software, and so your pics are always too dark or light. The lens is short, zooms poorly, and is slow.

This camera sucks!
2009-02-19I bought this camera because I was very happy with the Exilim I had that I crushed. The old one took great pictures and was very easy to use. I ordered this camera to have in time for Christmas and all the photos from the holiday were awful. The color is too dark without the flash, too bright with the flash. There is no macro setting. Even using auto focus, the pics were blurry. Not a good purchase. Amazon, of course, gave me a refund and I got the Elph instead. I love it!

Why You Should Use A Mini DV Camcorder
Introduction
The mini DV camcorder has many advantages to offer its users. If you enjoy your digital video camera you will also enjoy this. The mini DV camcorder is easier to take with you than the regular sized cameras such as the hi definition camcorder, or the hi-Res camcorder. The size of this camcorder is one of its big advantages. The features this camcorder can offer are also great. Some cameras offer more features than others, so make sure that the camera has the features you want.

Generally when design, performance and technological improvements are made on electronic products there is a reduction in size as well to make them more compact.
For example the early day radios were built in large cabinets and required radio vacuum tubes. Eventually, transistor radios were constructed and were more portable. Today, a radio can be as small as a wristwatch.
Camcorders have also evolved in tec ...
Audio & Video Connections Guide
" For a list of all the ways technology has failed to improve the quality of life, please press three." - Alice Kahn
This quote is certainly applicable to consumer electronics. From the very first commercially produced radios to the latest in high-definition television technology, the manner in which the components used to deliver our news, music, movies and entertainment are interconnected seems to have escaped logic. For both the newcomer and the old hand alike, connecting equipment in the most efficient and effective manner can be a painful chore. It is hoped this article will improve your background knowledge concerning potential A/V system connection schemes and where each is most appropriate. The next time you find yourself in a "connectivity quandary" perhaps the ideas shared here will help you to quickly solve the riddle of which wire goes where and why!
