My favorite blanks disc of all time!
2009-07-24I tried these out after searching the web for weeks and reading ALOT a good things about them. I used to use philips, and hp Lightscribe discs but noticed some quality deterioration over time. With these i heard there isn't any so i switched.
This is definitely my new favorite Lightscribe disc.
Things to remember when burning a disc and Lightscribing, for all the people complaining about coasters and whatnot:
1) Burn at the slowest speed possible. Yes it may take longer but better that, than having to do it over and over again when you keep getting errors.
2) Don't have a lot of other programs running on your computer while burning or Lightscribing. The process of disc burning requires your computers CPU to do a lot of heavy lifting. Making your computer burn a disc while you have other programs running is the equivalent of trying to bench press 300lbs, while juggling a ball, reading a book and answering the telephone all at the same time. Shut down all your other programs until you're done.
3) Clean your dvd player/Lightscribe burner FREQUENTLY. Some people never clean their disc players. A few specks of dirt inhibiting the Lightscribes laser can give you inferior images and that 'scratched look' on the surface of your disc after you burn an image. Simply cleaning it with a DRY BRUSH LASER LENS CLEANER often, can minimize alot of your problems including coasters.
Highly recommended these.

They work great!
2008-02-26I've only used a few of these discs so far, but they have all worked great. There were no recording issues, and the LightScribe burner put the titles on just fine. Good deal on a good product.

they work........half of the time
2008-02-17I don't know if it's my burner or these discs but they only work properly half the time. So far I've had a DRE (disc read error), one that wouldn't burn at all, and one that would only burn about 100mb of storage before it quit on me. out of the 6 discs I've burned, 3 failures is unacceptable.

Nice lightscribe images
2008-01-13I use an BenQ dvd burner with lightscribe and Nero for the software. The images produced on these discs came out crisp and easy to see at any angle.

Camera basics: shutter-speed, aperture and ISO
In this article, I’ll introduce you to the basic elements that you can use to control exposure in your shooting. If you have a digital SLR, there will be a way to set all of these controls on your camera, but since they differ between manufacturers and models, you’ll need to refer to your camera’s manual to find out exactly how to change them.
All cameras, whether an ancient film camera, or a more modern digital, work in pretty much the same way. Photographs are taken by letting light fall onto a light-sensitive medium, which records the image. Traditionally, this has been film, but more recently, it tends to be a digital sensor. The more light that falls onto the film or sensor, the lighter the image.
Put simply, a camera consists of a light-tight box that stores a light-sensitive device (either a film or a digital sensor), a lens that magnifies and focuses the image onto that light-sensitive device through a hole in the box (called the aperture) , and a shutter that opens ...

Camera Parts & Features - these are standard or basic features on a camera. Your camera may have different features. If you have any questions, please e-mail me.
View Finder - A small eyepiece or screen on the camera that allows you to see the image you're recording. (The camera also acts as a VCR, so you can play back and watch what you have already recorded through the view finder).
White Balance - If you ever ended up with yellow-tinted video, chances are you forgot to white balance. It's worthwhile to white balance every time you use your camera to get the highest quality video. If your camera doesn't have this feature, it may have an automatic or internal system. What white balancing does is adjust the intensity of the colors being recorded according to the existing light. Make sure you white balance every time the lighting conditions change; if you record video inside and then go outside, your lighting conditions have changed and you need to instruc ...
