The Dust Removal (DR) system incorporating Pentax-original Special Protect (SP) coating helps keep the CCD surface dust-free, and adds a shift mechanism to shake dust off the CCD. Furthermore, the dependable dust-proof, water-resistant body construction of the K10D features 72 seals throughout the camera to allow photographers to continue shooting even in dusty or rainy environments.
The D-BG2 battery grip, exclusively for the Pentax K10D digital SLR camera, is weather resistant and has a vertical shutter release, green button, exposure compensation button and two mode dials. The battery tray holds a D-LI50 battery, doubling the battery life of the camera, and allows the storage of a spare SD/SDHC card and remote control. In addition, the D-BG2 features the same dust-proof, weather-resistant construction as the K10D camera body

In terms of public safety, it's probably correct to say that banning cell phones would reduce the number of traffic accidents. But I think, more accurately, it depends on the person. Some people are operating on, shall we say, lower power CPUs in their heads to begin with. They might be zoned out on prescription drugs, and when you add a cell phone to the equation, they do become a danger to the ...
