fun toy2010-02-14
i was a little worried when i ordered the acer b/c i had not heard much about it and wasn't sure if it was going to be too small. now, i absolutely love it. a normal size laptop would have been too big for me. i use it for work with windows and the internet. i can throw it in my purse b/c it is small and lightweight. The only downfall you can't put disks in and having a hard time located my key # for the windows trial offer it came with.
defective2010-02-08
I have less than 20 hours of use on this Acer Aspire AOA 150 and the battery is dead,it will not open IE and the screen is shaky and the color red.'
I know this is not a high priced machine, I am very dissapointed with it.
I have updated all the drivers that were available and even contacted Acer, but because it is out of warranty by 1 month, Acer would not help me.
use it everyday2009-12-21
this little guy is great. i got it in white with a 6 cell battery for about $280. i have it for about 8 months and i literally use it every day. yes i did have to buy a cd burner to attach but that was only about $40. this netbook does everything i need and its so portable. i like it better than my previouse full sized hp laptop. very very happy with my acer aspire one.
Portable and I love the colour2009-12-07
I got this copper Netbook and i love it. It is so portable, efficient and I love the colour. The design is sleek as well. If you travel a lot you should get one. It also came with a cute little mouse.
Excellent investment2009-11-21
I'm very satisfied with this netbook. Very lightweight. Excellent price! The only thing I have to get used to is the keyboard- it just needs some getting used to. I highly recommend this product.

Core 2 Duo Scaling
Laptop Scaling Intel's Core 2 Duo is easily the best mobile processor on the market today, boasting sky-high performance and low power consumption. But which CPU is for you: the super expensive T7600, the bargain-priced T5500, or something in between? This article will first take a look at the various versions of Core 2 Duo that Intel has to offer. We will compare Core 2 Duo clocked at four speed grades: 2.33GHz, 2.16GHz, 2GHz, and 1.83GHz in a variety of benchmarks and let you know how to get your best bang for the buck. Note: We will refer to a Core 2 Duo “T7000multiple times in this article. We were unable to get a Merom sample with 2MB L2 cache, thus we lowered the clock speed of our 4MB L2 model to 1.83GHz to perform near that of the T5600 (1.83GHz, 2MB L2 cache), resulting in our unofficial “T7000nomenclature. The Core 2 Duo Processor Intel has two lines of Core 2 Duo processors: notebook and desktop. Core 2 Duo for notebooks is codenamed Merom, while Core ...
Digital camera batteries
Batteries are vital for all photography and makiing sure that you have a spare set is essential if you intend to take alot of pictures. Print digital also recommend that when deciding upon a digital camera keep in mind what sort of batteries it takes. Does it take rechargeable batteries, are the batteries built and do you have to plug it into the mains, or does the camera only take standard batteries, if so then it can become exspensive if you are a keen photographer and use the camera alot. There are three types of rechargeable batteries: NiCD, NiMH and Lithium-Ion. Nickel Metal Hydride are the most popular rechargeable batteries at present. They hold more charge than their counter parts NiCD and don't suffer from memory effect. The one small down fall of these batteries is that they will loose a small amount of charge even if they are not being used, so be sure to check the batteries before using them. When you purchase a new digital camera make sure to ask what type of battery ...
