EXCELLENT!! PS3 Highly Recomended!2010-01-13
I've own this for 8 months now and have pretty much used it at least 4 times a week. The quality is excellent compared to a high end projector costing twice as much. If you sit close to the projector then move the projector closer to the wall to about 42in so that way the resolution increases as the pixels get smaller which is best for video games otherwise move it away for the immersed movie experience. As for using this with multimedia a PS3 is the way to go if its high def video to blu-rays to video games you can't go wrong.
Great image definition but heavy & no cables included2009-09-11
I bought it for my office. We don't have much space so the close range lens is important. I thought it would be smaller and more portable, but it is heavy and kinda bulky but with a nice design. The image definition is great though. There are no cables included, so make sure you buy the right ones beforehand. Ventilator is a bit noisy if you use it for presentation. The audio...good for presentations, not strong enough for movies.
Great Purchase2009-09-10
I bought this projector for my dad because he loved mine(a Dell). The Toshiba TDP-ET10U was the cheapest one that i found, and I was a little concerned about its quality and performance. My dad has had it for about 2 months now, and he said it is actually better than the one I have. The picture is great, and it works in small spaces. I am very satisfied with this purchase.
Great Product2009-09-10
We are very pleased with this product. It is much better than we could ever anticipate. The sound quality is excellent and the picture quality phenominal. Our family and friend are extremely impressed to see the great sound and picture quality the projector provides. My wife and I are very happy we purchased this projector.
Works great for outdoor movies!2009-09-02
I bought this projector early in the summer for watching movies in my backyard. It works fine in this environment.

Set up is simple thorugh HDMI, S-vidoe, etc. Just plug it in and start projecting. I am not a videophile, but when connected to my DVD player with an HDMI cable, the picture looks fine on a 100" screen.

Projector noise is not an issue outdoors. I have hooked it up in a small room where the fan noise is obvious.

There is a noticable video 'lag' when running the DVD audio through external speakers, causing audio and vidoe to be out of sync. Lag is not always obvious when watching animated films, but I find it anoying when viewing films with live actors. My DVD player has an 'audio delay' feature built in. Introducing a 50ms delay in the audio path seems to get audio and video back in sync.

I'm quite happy with the purchase overall. However, if my DVD player did not have the ability to compensate for the video lag that may not be the case.

Driving with a cell phone is a lot less dangerous than driving on prescription drugs
There's a lot of debate today about the safety of using cell phones while driving. Statistics show that those who use cell phones while driving cause a much greater percentage of accidents than those who avoid using their cell phones. And the studies have shown that it's not just the physical coordination required to punch numbers into the cell phone while you're trying to work the vehicle that causes accidents; it's actually the lack of attention resulting from driving and talking on the cell phone at the same time. It seems that when you're distracted, you're more likely to cause accidents. In terms of public safety, it's probably correct to say that banning cell phones would reduce the number of traffic accidents. But I think, more accurately, it depends on the person. Some people are operating on, shall we say, lower power CPUs in their heads to begin with. They might be zoned out on prescription drugs, and when you add a cell phone to the equation, they do become a danger to the ...
Core 2 Duo Scaling
Laptop Scaling Intel's Core 2 Duo is easily the best mobile processor on the market today, boasting sky-high performance and low power consumption. But which CPU is for you: the super expensive T7600, the bargain-priced T5500, or something in between? This article will first take a look at the various versions of Core 2 Duo that Intel has to offer. We will compare Core 2 Duo clocked at four speed grades: 2.33GHz, 2.16GHz, 2GHz, and 1.83GHz in a variety of benchmarks and let you know how to get your best bang for the buck. Note: We will refer to a Core 2 Duo “T7000?multiple times in this article. We were unable to get a Merom sample with 2MB L2 cache, thus we lowered the clock speed of our 4MB L2 model to 1.83GHz to perform near that of the T5600 (1.83GHz, 2MB L2 cache), resulting in our unofficial “T7000?nomenclature. The Core 2 Duo Processor Intel has two lines of Core 2 Duo processors: notebook and desktop. Core 2 Duo for notebooks is codenamed Merom, while Core ...
